For Love or Money's Erin Brodie
HOMETOWN: Los Altos, Calif.
LATEST GIG: For Love or Money 2
WHAT'S AT STAKE: $2 million
•Why you know her:
On NBC's For Love or Money finale, Brodie, 31, spurned bachelor Rob Campos for a $1 million prize. Then she gave it up to star in FLOM2. If the man she chooses picks her over the cash, she'll net $2 million. "I had 24 hours to make up my mind," she says. "I look back and think, 'What was I thinking?'"
•In the beginning: The daughter of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback John, 67, Brodie has kept the friends she made at age 4. "She is real smart when it comes to relationships," says mom Sue, 66, a Realtor.
•Love life: Single since jilting Campos. "It would have been wrong to pick him and have it not work out," she says. ("I just wanted a chance with her," says Campos. "I don't regret my decision.") The youngest of five, she's in no hurry to settle down. "Now that my mom has 10 grandkids," she says, "the pressure is off."
•Where she's headed: After quitting her software sales-manager job to appear in the sequel, Brodie is L.A.-bound, possibly to pursue TV work. "I need a job," she says. "I can't just freeload off my parents anymore!"
