By now, Angelina Jolie has perfected the fine art of being a working mom. But on Aug. 29, on the Brooklyn set of her upcoming drama The Good Shepherd, it was her boyfriend's turn to put career on hold (for a short while anyway) and emulate one of Jolie's signature child-wrangling techniques: 7-month-old Zahara snuggled close to chest; left hand firmly grasping 4-year-old Maddox. (A nice finishing touch: baby bottle stashed jauntily in back pocket.)

When it comes to managing kids, there's nothing like teamwork. And so it goes as Brad continues his transformation into Dad while his girlfriend returns to life as a busy mother. In addition to her long hours on The Good Shepherd, Jolie cohosted an Aug. 27 benefit in the Hamptons for Haitian refugees. The event, which raised more than $100,000 for Yéle Haiti—the charity founded by Fugees musician Wyclef Jean—also drew Lindsay Lohan and cohost Meryl Streep. "We both share the same passion for refugees," Jean says of Jolie.

Pitt skipped the gala, but he turned up on the Shepherd set again on Aug. 30. Alas, the together time—and the extra pair of hands for the kids—is to be short-lived: Pitt is due on the Alberta set of his upcoming Jesse James biopic later this month.

Her Night Out in the Hamptons

Jolie accepted flowers at the Aug. 27 benefit for Yéle Haiti. (Yéle roughly translates as "cry for freedom.")

"We share the same goals," says Haiti native Jean (with Jolie and Streep).

Jolie grooved to a set by Jean, who also duetted with Norah Jones at the fete.
