Like many pregnant women, Soleil Moon Frye had a birth plan: (1) Van Morrison and Bob Dylan background music; (2) a Buddha figurine as a focal point for contractions; and (3) Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher (along with a group of other close friends and relatives) in the delivery room for support. "I had such love around me," says the former kid star (Punky Brewster), whose husband, Jason Goldberg, 34, is Kutcher's producing partner. When firstborn daughter Poet Sienna Rose Goldberg arrived at 2:20 a.m. Aug. 24, "the whole room was singing 'Happy Birthday' to her," says Frye, 29. "We were all in tears."
The epidural-aided delivery was a breeze compared to the "morning, noon and night" sickness of her first trimester. "I could only live on waffles and anything that was a carbohydrate," says the 5'2" actress, who gained 44 lbs. By the end "I was like, 'How am I going to make it?' I had gotten so big."
Now that Poet is here, "I just want to hold her every second," says the new mom. "Every time she peeps I'm like, 'Give her to me!' I don't believe you can spoil a child too much in the beginning. There's just no way."
