You're looking sexier than ever. How do you keep from going over-the-top?

Are there things you won't wear because they don't suit your personality?
"I can't wear the stuff my sister [Ashlee] wears, the rock look. There's nothing worse than trying to look like you're a rocker when you're not. I like glamor."
What do you wear when you want to look like the girl next door?
"A sundress with a lot of flowers."
What about when you want to be a bombshell?
"It depends on the night and the event. But I wouldn't survive without my stylist Jessica Paster, Ken Pavés doing my hair and Mary Phillips doing my makeup."
What's the best fashion compliment you've gotten?
"My stylist said, 'No matter what you have on, your smile always makes you look good.' "

JENNIFER ANISTON
The Cool Classic
Simple, clean and unpretentious, she's regal yet accessible—and one of Hollywood's most powerful influences
Her appeal: "Jennifer Aniston is the most loved star in Hollywood," says stylist Rachel Zoe. "She's super-simple, never dresses heavy. She is who she is, and her clothes too—take it or leave it."
Her attitude: "She never makes a fuss," notes style expert Stacy London (What Not to Wear). "She's all about clean lines, minimal jewelry, natural hair."

She's been quietly cultivating her look, but in love's new light, she's making her fashion debut—and all eyes are on her

A timeless look: "She looks ladylike and effortless," says Stacy London, cohost of What Not to Wear. "For casual chic, women should emulate her. She never goes for the revealing outfit, just the one that suits her in a beautiful color."

HALLE BERRY
The Red-Carpet Queen
Always elegant, she's learned the art of accenting the positive. Here, she spills her fashion secrets
What's the secret to looking great on the red carpet?
"I always try to find a dress that looks good on my body. It may not be the hottest dress, because sometimes those dresses don't look good. It's about finding that dress, whether it's modern or from the past. It's about knowing my strengths and weaknesses."
How do you avoid mistakes?
"I like to surround myself with people who are brutally honest. They'll say, 'That looks hideous, take it off!' I'll say, 'It's the most modern, hip thing!' And they'll say, 'I don't care!' "
What are the signatures of your style?
"A couple of pairs of good Gucci slacks, my George Mang or Gunmetal shoes, my new python Versace bag, my Ippolita gold jewelry and new wooden bangles and rings from Colette Malouf."
Do you feel that you owe it to your fans to get dressed up?
"I love being dressed up. I started my career in beauty pageants. I do it for the red carpet but also for myself. But I also love to be able to rebel and say, 'Today it's going to be about bad hair, bad pants and a bad shirt.' Some days you just want to be a beach bum."
Body Talk
TROUBLE ZONES
"I can be a little bottom-heavy if I don't watch out. I wish I had smaller boobs, because then I could go braless and wear really great clothes. I tried something recently—a dress that's cut high under the bust and sort of hangs from the bustline. My body type just can't carry that."
WHAT FLATTERS HER
"I gravitate toward simple and somewhat formfitted clothes."
Goodbye to the tunic!
She helped put them on the map; now she's retiring them: "I probably have about 50 and haven't worn about 20. I'll save them, and when they go out of style, I'll pull one out unexpectedly and start over again."
SIENNA MILLER
The Innovator
We've come to expect the unexpected from this quirky maverick. She gives us a glimpse into the mind that launched a thousand trends
Have you always been such a creative dresser?
"Creative being the operative word. I went through a phase of green jeans, lumberjack shirts and Timberland boots with pink hair."
How long does it take you to get dressed before leaving the house?
"I'm far too lazy to give anything much thought. I'm always running late."
What are the rules for wearing hats?
"Get one that fits your head."
Who would you want to trade closets with?
"David Bowie."
The look I'm into now is...
"Wee Jimmy Krankie! Look him up!" [We did. He's half of a British '80s comedy duo. Expect schoolboy-gone-crazy looks in her future.]
In her closet, every woman should have...
"skeletons."
One thing I'll never wear is...
"a baseball cap."
When I want to look sexy, I put on...
"nice underwear."
Will it catch on?
Q) Where did you get the idea to lace up your sandals over your jeans?
A) "Don't know—decided to do it running out the house."
BEYONCE KNOWLES
The Showstopper
This dramatic diva never leaves home looking like anything but a star. She talks about dressing larger than life
What do you look for when you shop?
"I really like to find one-of-a-kind things. I'm very big on not wearing what everyone else has. I like to be unique. I'm lucky because I get to work with designers who make things especially for me, and of course my mom, who knows me better than I do sometimes. I trust her completely."
Any special tricks?
"I love to mix vintage with things that are in now."
What can't you live without?
"A great pair of jeans. Especially because I do so much traveling. You can pack them and wear them with everything. You can do flip-flops and tanks or sexy jackets and a great pair of heels and you're sexy and glamorous."
Beyoncé Designs!
In October, she and her stylist mom, Tina Knowles, will launch a line of jeans, fur and outerwear inspired by Beyoncé's urban-luxe style called House of Deréon (her grandmother's maiden name.) "It's a little vintage and a little couture," Beyoncé says. The tagline: "Couture kick soul."

Precocious: "For a girl of 20, her sense of style is very well-honed and developed," says Stacy London of What Not to Wear. "She enjoys dressing up and experimentation."
Fearless: "She's very courageous in her choices," says style expert David Wolfe. "She's not the typical sexy starlet. She presents herself as a woman with a mind. That's pretty rare on the red carpet."
NICOLE RICHIE
The L.A. Girl
Decked in the latest and greatest, she's willing to confess all. We give her the third degree
What's your biggest shopping weakness?
"When I go to Marni, I tend to go a little crazy. I go crazy in Tracey Ross because I'm friends with everybody there. It's like going to a friend's house, just with amazing clothes. Only then, I'm like, 'Oh, God, what did I spend?!' "

Where do you store everything?
"I keep two closets: one at my house and one at my parents'."
Does your fiancé, DJ AM, have any creative input?
"He's in charge of the tennis shoes. He's a shoe fanatic. He has 700 pairs of Nikes. So he buys all my Nikes. I don't even know what they're called, actually. But when I'm around guys, they're like, 'Ooooh, you have those?' And I'm like, I guess I do.' "
Have you started shopping for your wedding dress?
"I haven't. But I know that I want either John Galliano or Valentino to do it."
What's your secret to being chic and laid-back at the same time?
"I never wear shoes I can't dance in."
The bigger, the better!
The Sunglasses

The Movie Star
With her old-world grace and modern eye, she rewrites fashion's rules. She lets us in on her style sense and sensibilities

"I don't ever see fashion as a risk. I only wear something if I can move in it and can have a good time in it."
Are you a decisive dresser?
"Yes, very. I don't have very much stuff. Also, if someone says they like my coat, I take it off and give it to them. I try not to be attached to any piece of clothing."
Do you follow trends?
"No. I just respond to fabric. I respond to the feel of something."
Do your kids cast votes on what you wear?
"My son does. I've taught him to say, 'You look pretty, Mommy' But only if he thinks it. He loves high heels and flowers in my hair."
A jean affair
"I just love blue jeans. My legs are long, so it's really hard to find the perfect pair. I love Notify and True Religion."
