The Daily Show host Jon Stewart, 42, and his wife, Tracey, 38, are expecting their second child this winter. They have a 1-year-old son, Nathan.

(Gilmore Girls), 35, married actor Ben Falcone (Joey), 32, Oct. 8 at an L.A. restaurant before more than 100 guests. This is the first marriage for both. "We've known each other for eight years, so we always said we felt married anyway," McCarthy tells PEOPLE. "I wondered if it would feel different, and it really does."
Former View cohost Lisa Ling, 32, recently called off her eight-month engagement to media entrepreneur Philip Levine. Ling tells PEOPLE that busy work schedules contributed to their decision to split. "It's an amicable breakup," says the globetrotting Ling, who hosts National Geographic Channel's Explorer. "It was the right thing to do." ...R&B singer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, 47, and his wife, Tracey, 38, are splitting after 13 years together. "It is with deep regret that we announce our permanent separation," said the couple in a statement. "We remain best friends." They have two sons, Dylan, 4, and Brandon, 9.
On Oct. 7 in Anaheim, Calif., photographer Todd K. Wallace was charged with child endangerment and battery after he allegedly struck a child in an effort to snap shots of actress Reese Witherspoon at a Disney theme park last month during a reported birthday party for her daughter. Wallace allegedly cursed the Just Like Heaven star when she refused photographs and battered another adult (purportedly the mother of the child). Wallace was due in court Oct. 12. A rep for Witherspoon had no comment.
On Oct. 6 in New York City, a judge dismissed a paternity suit against Wesley Snipes (Blade: Trinity), 43. A woman named Lanise Pettis alleged that she had a tryst with Snipes in Chicago and that he had fathered her son. Though the actor—who said he never met the woman—refused to take a paternity test on principle, an unidentified man agreed to take the test and was identified as the biological father of the boy. A rep for Snipes could not be reached for comment.
Comedian Louis Nye, 92, famous for his delivery of the trademark phrase "Hi-Ho, Steverino" on The Steve Allen Show in the 1950s, died of lung cancer Oct. 9 in L.A. More recently, Nye appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm as the father of Jeff Garlin's character.
