Out and About in Los Angeles and New Orleans, Britney Spears Has Some People Wondering: Is She Pregnant?

Either Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline are training for The Amazing Race or they just love swanky accommodations. Spotted at hotels from Beverly Hills to Louisiana (to promote her fragrance Curious) last week, Spears had tongues wagging—this time about whether she's pregnant. After all, she did tell PEOPLE last September, "I can see myself as a mom. Next year, at 23, I am so there." But her rep denies that she's expecting. The couple—who are shopping around home videos of their courtship to the TV networks—may not be in the family way, but Spears may well be joining the family business. During a pit stop at dad Jamie's smoothie joint, JJ Chill, in Venice, Calif., "Britney was in the kitchen, learning how to make the chili and the smoothies," says Jamie's business partner Joseph Nejman. "She said she wants to work here twice a week during the summer. She wanted to design her own waitressing uniform. She seemed more excited about what she was going to wear than learning about making the smoothies!"
