Playing the girlfriend of an obsessed Boston Red Sox fan in the comedy Fever Pitch, Drew Barrymore realized she had a lot to learn. "I knew nothing about baseball. But being at Fenway, you get caught up in the atmosphere," says the actress, 30, who costars with Jimmy Fallon. "You go from seeing a guy with a giant baseball painted on his head and thinking, 'Oookay,' to loving diehard fans," says Barrymore, who was still filming during the World Series. "When they started winning, I was like, 'What if they... no, don't talk about it! That will jinx it.' Being at the winning [Oct. 27th] game was a life experience."

Country star Tim McGraw attracts plenty of female fans to his concerts, but at home he also has three daughters—Gracie, 7, Maggie, 6, and Audrey, 3—with his wife, singer Faith Hill. How does he cope with all that estrogen? "Lots of hunting trips," says McGraw, 37, who recently launched a campaign with the American Red Cross and State Farm Insurance to encourage people to donate blood. "And I have my own bathroom. It's just for me, and it's got a lock on it," says the singer. "I love being king of the house, or at least they let me think I am."

She's only 17, but Evan Rachel Wood, who starred in such critically acclaimed films as Thirteen and the current drama The Upside of Anger, is a Hollywood veteran. That doesn't mean she's put away childish things, however. "I have a lot of TV-show theme songs on my iPod. I have the Duck Tales song and a lot of Disney songs," says the actress. "You always know who your good friends are because you'll be in your car, and your iPod will be on shuffle, and all of a sudden a Winnie the Pooh song comes on. And you'll hear them singing, 'A donkey named Eeyore...' "

For Mena Suvari, getting a temporary boob job for the comedy Beauty Shop was a real education. "I'd never experienced anything like it. They made this bra stuffed with cotton and silicone inserts. I'm a 32A and they made me into a 36DD. My shoulders would hurt, but I got lots of attention," says the actress, 26. "It was a huge crew, and there were new people every day, so they wouldn't necessarily know the boobs were fake. I would step outside my trailer, and guys would be waving and saying, 'Hey, how ya doing?' It was a psychological experiment. Honestly, I would go back into the trailer, take off the bra, come back outside and the same men would be, like, 'Who are you?' "
