RENEE'S NEW MAN
Insider has learned that eight months after splitting from White Stripes guitarist Jack White, Renée Zellweger has a new musician in her life: country star Kenny Chesney. While in Jacksonville, Fla., the actress surprised Chesney by bringing him a margarita onstage (it's a tradition at his shows) at his April 29 concert. Backstage, a giggly Renée told Kenny she'd be in Tennessee, so he invited her to lunch, and on May 2, the two canoodled over a meal at P.F. Chang's near Nashville. "They were kissing, and she kept touching him," says restaurant manager Sherri Hungerbuhler. Says Zellweger's rep: "They are in the very early stages of getting to know each other." Chesney knows one thing for sure. "She's really, really cute," he tells us.

CHRISTINA CELEBRATES HER ENGAGEMENT
on April 30 at Santa Monica's Buffalo Club, Christina Aguilera got some practice in for her upcoming wedding: The singer, sparkling in a beaded Versace dress, beamed as her fiancé, music exec Jordan Bratman, carried her over the threshold of the restaurant. There they toasted their upcoming nuptials with 100 guests, including Penélope Cruz (a pal and neighbor of the bride-to-be) and Matthew McConaughey. The bash also marked the first time that Aguilera's family—who flew in from Philadelphia—met the Bratmans. Tables featured rose petals and mini wedding cakes. "It was a really romantic party," says one attendee. "They seemed really happy together."

JESSE & TARA: JUST PALS?
Looks like Tara Reid and Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe are only friends. At Guy's in L.A. April 27, Metcalfe sat in a corner booth kissing a blonde—not Reid—then took the same woman to a private after-hours party. Two nights later, Tommy Lee massaged Reid's back at Vegas's Hard Rock Hotel & Casino club the Joint while Coldplay performed. Then the pair smooched and dirty-danced at club Body English until after 1 a.m. The next day, they chilled by the hotel pool, and on Monday, Reid joined Lee at a Mötley Crüe gig in Loveland, Colo., wearing a black tee with the band's name emblazoned in pink.

PARTY HOPPING
Henry Fonda Theatre, Hollywood, May 1 Lindsay Lohan shares a smoke with Eva Longoria at the Axe afterparty for the Young Hollywood Awards. Lohan just got back from a family vacation on Parrot Cay island in Turks and Caicos, where she snorkeled and stayed in a cottage owned by Bruce Willis, who wasn't on the isle at the time.... Café Gray, N.Y.C., April 26 Insider joins Jerry Seinfeld and his pregnant wife, Jessica, at their party for Stories from a Moron, by Ed Broth (Jerry wrote the intro). When we asked Jerry about baby No. 3, he joked, "Well, we're hoping it's a baby—it could be a weight problem."
