EXPECTING
Saturday Night Live's Tina Fey, 34, and her husband, SNL composer Jeff Richmond, 44, are expecting their first child in September. The couple wed in 2001.
LEGAL MATTERS
At an April 29 court hearing in London, Abbie Gibson, 27, a former nanny of British soccer star David Beckham, 30, and his wife, Victoria, 31, agreed not to disclose further confidential information about their marriage. This followed the British newspaper the News of the World's April 24 article in which Gibson detailed David's alleged infidelities.... On April 28 in New York City, real estate broker Tamara Cohen, 32, filed a lawsuit against comedian Jerry Seinfeld, 51, and his wife, Jessica, 33. Cohen claims the couple failed to pay her a $117,000 commission for a Manhattan house they bought for $3.9 million. A rep for the Seinfelds said they offered "a generous fee for her time," but they didn't feel she was entitled to a commission.
SETTLED
On April 29 in Chicago, the Dave Matthews Band settled a lawsuit by agreeing to pay the state of Illinois $200,000, which is to be used for environmental programs. In August 2004 the group's tour bus driver, Stefan A. Wohl, dumped up to 800 lbs. of human waste into the Chicago River, hitting the deck of a tour boat carrying more than 100 passengers. Though the musicians weren't on the bus at the time, a rep says they take responsibility for what happened. Wohl, now a former employee, pleaded guilty to reckless conduct in March.... Cartoonist Stan Lee, 82, reached a multimillion-dollar settlement with comicbook company Marvel Enterprises. In 2002 the Spider-Man co-creator sued for breach of contract after Marvel didn't give him 10 percent of the profits from productions like the Spider-Man films.
HEALTH WOES
On May 13, The Price Is Right host Bob Barker, 81, will have surgery to remove two cancerous lesions—one from his back and one from an ear—caused by too much sun exposure. "It's impossible to stay out of the sun in Southern California," says Barker, who lives in Hollywood. "I walk my dog every morning, I'm often out in my garden, and I love to swim." Barker will return to game show duties May 23.
