So where do you go after a romantic trip to Rome, having let the world in on your newfound romance? If you're freshly minted lovebirds Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, you hop a plane to Mexico for a luxurious vacation at the ultraexclusive Maroma Resort & Spa. On May 5 the duo, joined by Cruise's kids Connor, 10, and Isabella, 12, flew in from Los Angeles to the getaway located 30 miles south of Cancun. After soaking up the sun along a barrier reef for five days, the whole crew took a private jet back to L.A. on May 10.
CARSON SLIMS DOWN
Carson Daly is wowing his late-night TV audience with his markedly trimmer appearance. While Daly, 31, says he hasn't kept track of how much he's lost, a source at his show says he's shed at least 30 lbs. since January. Daly chalks up his svelter self to living healthier in his 30s than he did in his hard-partying 20s. The talk show host also credits triathletes with inspiring his morning workout routine of running, biking and swimming. "I don't weigh myself, and I don't starve myself. But I don't eat crappy food at night," Daly says, adding, "I used to live hard at night. Now I'm asleep when my show is on." So is he training to compete in a triathlon? Says Daly: "Let's not go crazy now."

A-listers such as Halle Berry, Usher, Jamie Foxx, John Travolta and Alicia Keys will toast honorees including Maya Angelou, Coretta Scott King, Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle, Tina Turner and Diana Ross. "This weekend the intention is to say thank you to these extraordinary women," Winfrey tells Insider, "and let them feel all the love and gratitude they deserve."
