HOMETOWN: San Diego
LATEST GIG: Sideline reporter for ABC's Monday Night Football
•Why you know her:
After making on-air flubs and posing in lingerie for the laddie magazine FHM, Guerrero was dismissed by some critics as NFL eye-candy. Even with a decade of sports reporting experience, the onetime Los Angeles Rams cheerleader admits, "I'm learning on the job." No complaints from MNF commentator John Madden: "If you ever want to get a player to talk to you, just stand next to Lisa."
•In the beginning:
She and her brother Richard, 37, a pilot, were raised by dad Walter Coles, 62, a fund-raiser (Chile-born mom Lucy Guerrero died of cancer when Lisa was 8). "My dad fitted me with bobby socks and went to all my soft-ball games," she says. "He taught me the language of sports. That was such a strong bond."
•Love life:
After Baltimore Orioles pitcher Scott Erickson spotted Guerrero on TV last fall, "I tracked her down," he says. The couple will wed in February. "I hold the mike in my right hand," says Guerrero, who is renovating their home in Malibu, "so my family and friends complain they can never see my ring on TV."
