File this next to Madonna's English Roses: U2's Bono, with help from daughters Jordan, 14, and Eve, 12, has illustrated a book based on Peter and the Wolf, the beloved Prokofiev classical-music children's piece about a boy who catches a wolf (right). Sales of the 64-page Wolf, packaged with a CD by musician friend Gavin Friday, benefit the Irish Hospice Foundation (for information, go to www.peterwolf.org). The 43-year-old rocker's 16 original illustrations, including a 5-ft.-by-20-ft. mural, will be auctioned off by Christie's in New York City Nov. 21. Bono, who enlisted in the project in memory of his da, Bob Hewson, who died of cancer in 2001, is modest about the result—"The world is safe" from future exhibits—but happy too: "I had a special time with my girls that we'll never forget."
