Though Anthony, 35, has endured his own romantic mishaps of late—his wife, Dayanara, 29, filed for divorce on Jan. 20, and Anthony, through his lawyer, is denying the claims of a Miami woman that he's the father of her newborn son (see box)—he seemed ready for love during his long weekend with Lopez. The couple played cards, visited with Anthony's mother and at one point shared "a long, passionate kiss," says a friend. "It looks like they are back together."
Lopez and Anthony first got in sync in 1998, when they appeared together in a music video for "No Me Conoces" (You Don't Know Me). They dated for a few months and duetted together on her 1999 song "No Me Ames" (Don't Love Me). Recently they've been collaborating on Lopez's song "Sway" for the soundtrack of her upcoming film Shall We Dance? "Marc would do anything to be with Jennifer," says a source. "He's never gotten over her. He's madly in love with her. Even when he was married, he was still pining for Jennifer."
Still, Lopez and Anthony are doing their best to keep the relationship under wraps. The couple arrived separately to a Jan. 25 post-Golden Globes group outing at Lopez's Pasadena restaurant Madre's, and both their reps declined to comment on the romance. Says the source: "They are probably just trying to be there for each other right now."
