Double Takes

Why so much fashion two-timing on the party scene? These full-skirted dresses and flowing chiffon tops are among spring's loveliest looks, so you'll be seeing them more than once. OWN IT Christina Applegate and Shoshanna Lonstein hit a glam slam in a sheer Chloé top, but each gives it her own sensibility—casual West Coast denim vs. elegant East Coast trousers. Same for Scarlett Johansson and Kyra Sedgwick, who accessorize to add individuality. AGE BRACKET Lucy Liu's frock is as refreshing on her as it is on 15-year-old Caitlin Wachs. What could be sweeter?

WINNER'S CIRCLE
Uma Thurman—and those legs!—looked positively lethal in a Dior by John Galliano silk chiffon dress (accessorized with dice) and rhinestone Manolo Blahniks at the Kill Bill Vol. 2 premiere in Los Angeles.

DIVAS LAS VEGAS: Whether or not they gamble, the performers and presenters at the April 18VH1 Divas Show in Las Vegas are guaranteed good fortune. THEY'RE GA-GA FOR IT: There's a new kid in town when it comes to celebrity baby wear, and it's a sassy alternative to the usual sweet stuff. Sam Mendes (who just had a boy with Kate Winslet) and new mom Molly Ringwald buy Wry Baby's line of onesies with sayings like "I Eat Dirt" and "I Don't Floss." David Letterman requested one that reads "I Might Barf." Guess he's trying to teach his son Harry the finer points of sarcasm....

MISSY DOES ADIDAS: Missy Elliott has made a signature look out of giving sportswear a dose of street cred. Which is why she's teaming up with Adidas to create a line of accessories, footwear and women's clothing in sizes XS to XXL called Respect M.E., set to debut in September. Items include multicolor camouflage pants and tops, leather jackets, boots and sneakers. A portion of the sales helps Break the Cycle, a domestic violence nonprofit group. Gotta respect that....

HAIRY BERRY: What's with Halle Berry's new bohemian locks? Usually neatly coiffed, the Oscar winner is sporting a longer, looser look. Maybe it's because she's preparing for a role in Nappily Ever After, about a woman who dumps her boyfriend and chops off her high-maintenance hair. Or maybe she just wanted to take a walk on the long and wild side.

Trend of the Week
SILVER SEQUINS

Heigh-ho, silver! The lustrous metal is going for a ride on the backs of some frisky fillies. Whether the sequins are used for detailing, as on Mischa Barton's top, or for full-on shimmer, like Rosario Dawson's halter, the effect is dazzling. Second-place silver? Bah! These lone rangers are in winning company.

MOCCASINS

Suede, comfy and newly hip, thanks to Miu Miu's spring runway show and star hippies like Drew Barrymore (she has Minnetonkas in tan and black) and Kate Hudson (blue), mocs are the latest in cozywear. With jeans or skirts they're a footloose and fancy-free alternative to toe-pinching heels. Ahh...

Hot Relaunch
CAMP BEVERLY HILLS

The '80s cult label Camp Beverly Hills, with its palm tree logo, is making a comeback that rivals its original heyday. Available coast-to-coast, the newly launched line of shirts, tanks, sweats, ponchos and more is being snapped up by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Jessica Simpson, Jamie-Lynn DiScala and a host of other starlets too young to remember the original. Totally gnarly.
