Singer Ricky Martin, 32, has been sued for $63.5 million by his former manager for breach of contract. In a lawsuit filed April 14 in San Juan, Angelo Medina, 45, claims that he was supposed to keep managing part of Martin's career even after they ended their contract in September, but that Martin has broken all ties. A lawyer for the singer, who in February had sued Medina for $2.5 million for services not delivered, denies all the allegations....
Clark's Market, a grocery store in Aspen, claimed in court papers that actor Don Johnson, 54, owes them $5,470 in unpaid grocery bills. The former Nash Bridges star filed for bankruptcy last month to stave off foreclosure on his ranch outside Aspen. A rep for Johnson said, "Anybody that Don owes money to will be paid."
Brash, cigar-puffing comedian Alan King, 76, who appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show more than 50 times, died of lung cancer May 9 in New York City. King, famous for his rants about suburban life, entertained audiences for more than 50 years in nightclubs and on TV....
Olive Osmond, 79, the mother of former pop stars Donny and Marie, died of complications from a stroke May 9 in Provo, Utah. Osmond is survived by her husband, nine children, 55 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
