Britney Spears and her beau, dancer Kevin Federline, caused a commotion with a quick sightseeing stop May 30 in Paris. Although the pop star was performing that night at an arena on the outskirts of the city, she insisted the couple be driven to the Left Bank, according to a source, "so they could have a picture of themselves with the Eiffel Tower in the background to show they were in Paris." Next week Spears heads to New York City to shoot the video for her new single "Outrageous," which will be featured in Halle Berry's new thriller, Catwoman.
LET'S GO CRAZY
Following his roof-raising SRO concert at L.A.'s Staples Center May 26, Prince and his band headed over to House of Blues Sunset Strip's Parish Room for an impromptu jam session for about 40 invited guests, including Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Simpson and Cedric the Entertainer, all of whom danced in the packed space until 2 a. m. Even Prince hit the floor. "He was dancing with everybody," said a source.

Costars Beyoncé and Steve Martin have different ways of passing the time on the set of The Pink Panther. "In one scene when we cut, Steve whipped out his banjo and started riffing," says the film's director Shawn Levy. Beyoncé, meanwhile, uses her downtime to go over lines and instant message her friends on her Sidekick. She even gave one of the gadgets to Levy as a gift. "Ashton Kutcher gave me my first two-way," says Levy, who worked with the young actor on Just Married and Cheaper by the Dozen. "We still check in with each other once a week, so I'm happy to bring Beyoncé into our technological circle."
