David Bowie canceled his July 2 performance at Denmark's annual Roskilde Festival, one of Europe's biggest outdoor music events, due to discomfort from a pinched nerve. Bowie, 57, recently cut short a concert in Prague because of pain in his shoulder....

Syndicated radio talk show host Michael Reagan, 59, the oldest son of the late Ronald Reagan, had successful hip replacement surgery on June 21 in Santa Barbara. Reagan was scheduled to have the surgery earlier in the month, but postponed it after his father's June 5 death....

French actor Gérard Depardieu, 55, was hospitalized with a double fracture in his leg June 28 after crashing his scooter in Paris. Depardieu is expected to make a full recovery....

Country singer Loretta Lynn, 69, postponed three July concerts after she was hospitalized last month for double pneumonia. Lynn, who is recuperating at her Hurricane Mills ranch in Tennessee, is expected to resume her tour schedule in the near future.

ARRESTED
Rapper actor DMX (Never Die Alone), 33, was arrested at New York City's Kennedy Airport June 24 and later charged with a weapons violation, drunk driving, possession of a controlled substance and several traffic violations. DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, is scheduled to appear in court July 23. A rep for the rapper refused to comment.
