Daily Show host Jon Stewart, 43, and his wife, Tracey, 38, welcomed their second child, Maggie Rose, Feb. 4 in New York City. Their son Nathan is 19 months old.... On Feb. 2, Desperate Housewives' Joely Fisher, 38, gave birth in L.A. to her second daughter, True Harlow Fisher-Duddy, with husband cinematographer Chris Duddy, 44. Big sister Skylar is 4. Duddy has two sons, Cameron, 20, and Colin, 18, from a previous relationship.

ENGAGED
Actor Jay Mohr (Last Comic Standing), 35, and actress Nikki Cox, 27, who met when he appeared on her NBC show Las Vegas, recently got engaged. They plan to tie the knot next winter.... Actress Neve Campbell (Scream), 32, is engaged to British actor John Light (The Lion in Winter), 31. To propose, he got down on his knee and recited Shakespeare. The couple have not yet set a date for their nuptials.

I DO!
Actress Glenn Close, 58, married her beau, biotechnology entrepreneur David Shaw, 54, Feb. 3 at a small private ceremony in Maine. The Oscar-nominated actress has a 17-year-old daughter, Annie, from a previous union.

SPLIT
Actor Ralph Fiennes (The Constant Gardener), 43, and his longtime partner Francesca Annis (The Libertine), 61, are separating after 10 years together, Annis's lawyer announced. The split comes on the heels of tabloid reports that Fiennes had a two-year affair with Romanian singer Cornelia Crisan, 31.

UPDATE
Seventies teen idol Leif Garrett, 44, who pleaded not guilty to a heroin possession charge last month after cops arrested him at an L.A. subway station (PEOPLE, Feb. 6, 2006), checked himself into a residential rehab facility Jan. 30. Garrett had been receiving outpatient treatment for a full week and then decided he needed more help. The decision was made to "make sure he doesn't fall off the wagon," his attorney said.

LEGAL MATTERS
Actor Robert Blake, 72, filed for bankruptcy Feb. 3 following a civil jury's order last November that he pay $30 million in damages for the wrongful death of wife Bonny Lee Bakley, 44, in 2001. The former Baretta star cited the $30 million judgment as his biggest liability.

DEATHS
Actress Moira Shearer, 80, a classically trained prima ballerina who became an international film star with her lead role in the 1948 drama The Red Shoes, died Jan. 30 in Oxford, England, of undisclosed causes. The Scottish native played a ballerina torn between career and marriage in the Oscar-winning film, her first acting role, and inspired a generation of dancers to follow their feet.

FAREWELL TO CHRIS PENN
Jack Nicholson, Charlie Sheen, James Gandolfini and Tim Robbins were among 50 or so mourners at the Feb. 4 Culver City, Calif., funeral services for actor Chris Penn. (Penn, 40, brother of actor Sean Penn, was found dead on Jan. 24; the cause is still unknown.) Despite a reported scuffle involving a paparazzo and Mark Ruffalo, "the service was very uplifting," says an attendee.
