For the third consecutive season, renowned portrait photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders has set up shop at New York City's Olympus Fashion Week tent to snap celebrities—sometimes in as little as three minutes—before and after the shows. For an artist who sometimes spends weeks setting up sessions with A-listers from the worlds of entertainment, sports and politics, the chance to work this quickly with so many famous faces keeps him coming back. "The biggest challenge is dealing with the star's handlers," admits Greenfield-Sanders. "Once you get to the actual celebrity, it's fine."

SHE NAILED IT: The claws were out at Jennifer Lopez's Sweetface show during New York Fashion Week. Lopez, whose fall 2006 collection featured dresses with big bows and skinny pants, is "into long fingernails," she explained. "We used a lot of the demureness of the '60s as one of our inspirations, but I needed her to be a modern girl. I had to put the ghetto nail on her. I just did it for an LL Cool J video [I was in] and loved it. I was like, 'You know what? Bring back the long nail. Enough with stubby fingers!'" ...

BONE TO PICK: When you think of dogs and signs, perhaps "curb" comes to mind. But some pooches, thanks to Bark Avenue Jewelers, are wearing dog-bone charms with their birth sign. Eva Longoria has a Cancer charm for her pup Jinxy. Contrary to his name, he seems born under a lucky sign....

SHOES WORTHY: Bally celebrated the re-opening of their N.Y.C. flagship store with the release of limited-edition shoes copied from their vintage collection. "When I heard Bally created shoes based on 155-year-old archives, I knew I needed to get a pair," said Mena Suvari, who attended the shindig. "And I absolutely love them!"
