Sex and the City's Chris Noth, 53, and girlfriend Tara Wilson are awaiting their first child. Wilson, who is five months along, costars with Noth in the upcoming film Frame of Mind.... Former Law & Order actress Elisabeth Röhm, 34, will have her first child, a girl named Easton (Röhm told PEOPLE the name came to her in a dream), with her fiancé, entrepreneur Ron Wooster, 40.
LEGAL MATTERS
Jonathan Rhys Meyers, 30, star of August Rush, was arrested and charged with public drunkenness at Dublin Airport Nov. 19. Police said they confronted him for erratic and abusive behavior before his scheduled flight to London. Rhys Meyers posted bail and is due in court Dec. 5 for arraignment. His rep had no comment.... The Red Hot Chili Peppers sued Showtime Networks Inc. in L.A. Nov. 19, claiming the company took the name of the band's 1999 album Californication for the series of the same name. A rep for the series did not respond to a request for comment.... A Galveston, Texas, judge declared a mistrial Nov. 16 in the controversial case of birdwatcher and Galveston Ornithological Society founder Jim Stevenson, 54, who admitted to fatally shooting a cat that he said was stalking endangered birds.
RECOVERING
CNN's Nancy Grace, 48, was released Nov. 15 from an Atlanta hospital four days after being treated for two blood clots resulting from complications following the premature births of her twins Lucy and John, Nov. 4. The Headline News anchor tells PEOPLE she will remain on medication "for the long term" to recuperate. "That's my prayer because I want to be here to raise [my children]."
CHANGING NAMES
Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar (inset), 30, has legally changed her surname to that of her husband of five years, actor Freddie Prinze Jr., 31. Professionally, however, she is keeping her maiden name.
DEATHS
Dick Wilson, famous for the line "Please, don't squeeze the Charmin," died in Woodland Hills, Calif., Nov. 19. He made more than 500 commercials for the toilet-paper line from 1964 to 1985 as grocery store employee—and closeted Charmin-squeezer—Mr. Whipple.
FAREWELL
Martha Stewart, 66, lost her mother and major inspiration, Martha Kostyra, 93, when she died in Weston, Conn., Nov. 16. "Big Martha," as she was known, was a frequent guest on her daughter's home-entertaining show. "You can imagine how proud she was seeing herself in her daughter," says Stewart's friend and biographer Lloyd Allen.
