What Really Happened
From Lauren's Love Life to Heidi and Spencer's Rift, Here's the Scoop on What You Didn't See on TV
LAUREN & BRODY
DID THEY OR DIDN'T THEY?
"Yes, they've hooked up," says a show source. But right now, "we're friends," Conrad, 21, told PEOPLE at the Dec. 10 finale party. "Down the road, you never know." Jenner, 24, agrees: "There's always hope. If anything happens in the future, I'm totally open for it." Future being the key word: As Conrad sat across from him after the finale at Koi, Jenner (who once briefly dated Conrad pal Whitney Port, says a source) cozied up to a mystery brunette. Still, he swears he's not the player that the scores of women's names in his iPhone suggests; Jenner says he's pursued "maybe .01 percent" of them. As for the infamous "Britney Canada Whore" entry, he says, "She was very rude. I put that because I didn't like her." (Um, ever heard of delete?)
HEIDI & SPENCER
ON THE ROCKS?
Montag, 21, came to the live show without Pratt—or her engagement ring. The next day on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, Pratt, 24, said he's "trying to win Heidi back." But after the finale the pair were seen at Koi, where an onlooker says, "All seemed fine with them." They were also at LAX Dec. 7 and on a double date the next night. So are their ups and downs scripted? A Hills source says their relationship initially was: "It was created for the show—they ended up liking each other. Their friends don't expect the wedding to happen." But show creator Adam DiVello insists the relationship—and the show—"are all real."
LAUREN A.K.A. "LO"
THE NEW ROOMIE
Conrad's confidant since Laguna Beach, Lauren Bosworth, plans to move in with her pal by year's end. "We used to have sleepovers all the time!" says Bosworth, 21. (LC is house-hunting in L.A.) A UCLA art history student and PR intern, Lo is jokingly referred to as "the smart one in the bunch," says a Hills source. No word yet if Audrina will join them in the new house.
LC LAUNCHES A NEW LINE
In addition to her self-titled clothing line, Conrad just released the Lauren Conrad for Linea Pelle Collection: a three-piece accessories collection that features a $350 leather tote and $45 coin purse (lpcollection.com).
WHAT GOES DOWN IN PARIS?
In an upcoming episode, Conrad and Port, 22, help out at the Crillon debutante ball. Ball organizer Ophélie Renouard says, "The girls were very chic—they didn't look like interns!" A source says Conrad also went to Spain, where she and a pal "hung out with a lot of guys."
Her breakup with pseudo-rocker Justin Bobby (real name: Justin Brescia), 25, finally stuck. But Audrina Patridge, 22, says they're cordial now ("He kept calling"), even though he still won't cop to kissing another girl while out with her at Opera in L.A. (She says he did.) As for Corey, her lip-ringed rebound, Patridge says, "I'm sad—he's going back to Australia until April."
