Singer Pink, 28, and motocross racer and former Surreal Life star Carey Hart, 32, have separated after two years of marriage, they announced Feb. 19. The couple met at the 2001 X Games and broke up in 2003. They reunited the following year and wed in January 2006. "This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another," said Pink's rep.
Robert Irwin, the 4-year-old son of Australian Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin, who died after being pierced by a stingray in September 2006, was recently bitten by a baby boa constrictor. "He was so proud to have copped his first hit," his mother, Terri, said. "He said, 'I hope it wasn't venomous,' so I assured Robert I wouldn't actually let him play with venomous snakes." ... Former first lady Nancy Reagan, 86, was hospitalized in Santa Monica, Calif., Feb. 17 and released two days later after falling at her Bel Air home. Doctors found that no bones were broken. Her rep said she is "happy to be back in her home."
New York Giants wide receiver David Tyree, 28, who made the famous circus grab of a catch with the help of his helmet during this year's Super Bowl, and his wife, Leilah, 27, will soon add two new members to their home team: The parents of sons Teyon, 6, and Josiah, 3, will welcome twin daughters this month.
Sean Bean (The Lord of the Rings), 48, got married for the fourth time, to actress Georgina Sutcliffe, 29, in London Feb. 19—one month after the couple called off their nuptials for "personal reasons" the day before they were to wed.
Kirstie Alley, 57, who recently stepped down after three years as spokesmodel for Jenny Craig, is going to start her own weight-loss program. "I want to create something new that will help millions of people end the seemingly never-ending fatty roller-coaster ride," said the actress, adding that she is "passionate" about her plans to launch a slim-down brand next year.
An L.A. judge found Feb. 13 that Mel Gibson, 52, has met the terms of his no-contest plea to misdemeanor drunken driving. The actor-director, whose July 2006 arrest in Malibu prompted his anti-Semitic rant against a police officer, has attended regular Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and completed 90 days of counseling. Gibson will remain on probation for nearly 18 more months.
Actor David Groh, 68, best known as the laid-back Joe on 1970s sitcom Rhoda, died of kidney cancer in L.A. Feb. 12. "He was a lovely, lovely guy," said series star Valerie Harper.
