"Another unmarried star having a child. I'm with Matthew's mom on this one: When is the wedding?"
Singer Island, Fla.
While I am happy that Matthew McConaughey
has found love and is about to become a father, I wonder why he doesn't marry Camila. From what I read, he seems reluctant to take the step towards marriage and commitment. If that is the case, how is he going to handle being a father? Parenthood, like marriage, is a lifelong commitment. I wish the child lots of luck.

So Matthew and his girlfriend are expecting a love child. Mr. McConaughey is not fooling anyone. He is a man who is unable to make a legal commitment to his child or the child's mother. Unfortunately, he is only one of many. It is a shame that kids look up to these so-called stars as role models.

In every photo I've seen of Britney with her two kids this past year, the boys always appear distressed. In Kevin Federline
's arms, they seem to be calm and happy. I wish Preston and Jayden a happy life in the home of a father who clearly cares.
Mission Viejo, Calif.
The announcement that Kevin Federline
is a wonderful father is good news, regardless of whether he came to this milestone through some sort of spiritual enlightenment or through the knowledge that he must watch his step if he is to assure himself future access to Britney's millions. Excuse me for being cynical, but I've never thought much of him as a man—let alone a father—since he abandoned Shar Jackson during her pregnancy.
Finally, a positive article about Katie and Tom Cruise
. I am so glad that Katie got the chance to tell us what her and Tom's relationship is all about. She is beautiful, charming, smart, sweet and very much in control of her own life. She is definitely a class act.

How dare Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds make such a mockery of marriage. They both should be ashamed of themselves. As someone who has been married to the same person for 30 years, I'm totally disgusted by their behavior. Is marriage easy? Certainly not. But two weeks? Please!

ASHLEY'S NEW NOSE
Readers weighed in on our story about Ashley Tisdale and the criticism she faced over her recent nose job. "Why doesn't everyone leave Ashley alone," says Jennifer Anderson via e-mail. "It's her body, her money, her decision and no one else's business." Tisdale said that she had the surgery to correct a deviated septum and to ease her breathing, but not everyone was convinced that was her true motivation. Writes Lauren Hricik of Cleveland, Ohio: "I'd rather have a celeb come out and say, 'Hey, I didn't like the way I looked, so I changed it.'" As for Ashley? "I'm moving forward," she says. "People are entitled to their opinions, but nobody's comments are going to bring me down. I think beauty comes from within. If you're not happy with yourself, plastic surgery is not going to help you."
In our Jan. 14 issue, we incorrectly said Weight-Loss Challenge participant Nedra Jackson is an ex-Navy officer. She was a petty officer, third class. In the Scoop section of our Jan. 28 issue, Eva Longoria
's quote should have been credited to E!'s Daily 10. And in our Feb. 4 issue, the photo of Heath Ledger from the movie I'm Not There should have been credited to Jonathan Wenk/The Weinstein Company. We regret the errors.
