Britain's Princess Eugenie All Grown Up
Fergie's Younger Daughter Talks About Facebook, Cool Bands and Being Raised Royal
She's hooked on Facebook, loads her iPod with bands like Death Cab for Cutie, has a dog named after 24's Jack Bauer—and as the younger daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, she's sixth in line for the British throne. But don't call Eugenie of York, who turns 18 on March 23, a princess. "It is one of the things," she told the magazine Tatler, "that bugs me most in the world."
A boarder at Marlborough College secondary school, Eugenie, says a family friend, "seems more worldly" than sister Beatrice, 19. She is loyal to family. "Mummy, Bea and I call ourselves 'the Tripod,'" she said; her dad is "amazing." She's considering a career in photography—behind the lens. Of public appearances, she said, "I get terrified."
