Toni Braxton, 41, was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital April 7 and released in good condition the next day after experiencing chest pains. The singer, who has been battling the heart condition pericarditis since 2003, was admitted for testing as a precautionary measure following her performance at the Flamingo Showroom.
Naomi Campbell, 37, was released on bail in London April 4, hours after being arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer at Heathrow Airport. After boarding a British Airways plane bound for L.A., Campbell was allegedly told that one of her bags had been misplaced. A rep for the British supermodel said, "[The airline] decided to resolve this by insisting she leave the flight and then called the police to forcibly eject her." Campbell must report back to police late next month. • UCLA Medical Center has fired an employee for accessing confidential medical records, which reportedly included those of actress Farrah Fawcett, 61, and California first lady Maria Shriver, 52. Reps for the hospital said, "We regret any breach of patient confidentiality." Just three weeks ago, the hospital announced that several unauthorized employees were axed for accessing other files, reportedly belonging to singer Britney Spears, 26.
Former Growing Pains star Tracey Gold, 38, host of the TLC reality show The Secret Life of a Soccer Mom, had her fourth child, son Dylan, with her husband of 13 years, financial consultant Roby Marshall, 42, in Tarzana, Calif., April 1. The new arrival joins big brothers Sage, 11, Bailey, 9, and Aiden, 3.
Jasmine Guy, former star of A Different World, filed for divorce from her husband of nearly 10 years, investment banker Terrence Duckett, in L.A. April 3, citing irreconcilable differences. The pair, both 46, have one child, daughter Imani, 9.
Bob Dylan (inset), 66, has become the first rock musician to win a Pulitzer Prize. The singer-songwriter received a Special Citation in New York City April 7 "for his profound impact on popular music and American culture." The award has previously been bestowed upon classical artists and jazz luminaries such as Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane.
Wayne "Frosty Freeze" Frost, 44, of hip-hop's pioneering Rock Steady Crew, died in Manhattan April 3, following a long, undisclosed illness. His break-dancing performance in the 1983 film Flashdance is credited with helping spark a worldwide dance craze.
