EXPECTING
Michelle Duggar, 41, of Tontitown, Ark., and her husband, real estate agent Jim Bob, 42, are awaiting Baby No. 18. The newborn will join siblings Joshua, 20; Jana and John-David, 18; Jill, 17; Jessa, 15; Jinger, 14; Joseph, 13; Josiah, 11; Joy-Anna, 10; Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 9; Jason, 8; James, 6; Justin, 5; Jackson, 4; Johannah, 2; and Jennifer, 9 months.
UPDATE
The Manhattan District Attorney's office has declined to prosecute real estate developer Raffaello Follieri, 29, boyfriend of actress Anne Hathaway, 25, following his arrest in April for allegedly writing a bad check for $215,000 to cover a business loan, a DA spokeswoman said May 12. He was cleared after reimbursing businessman John Morrongiello. • Nick Bollea (inset), 17, son of wrestler Hulk Hogan, 54, was sentenced May 9 to eight months in a Florida jail after pleading no contest to felony reckless driving charges, stemming from the August 2007 crash that left his best friend, John Graziano, 23, in a semiconscious state. "Every single day I think about the accident and about John," said Bollea. • Jocelyn Kirsch, 22, and Edward Anderton, 25, the couple accused of stealing the identities of at least 16 people, have agreed to plead guilty to federal charges. The Bonnie and Clyde of ID theft allegedly stole about $119,000 in cash and merchandise.
LEGAL MATTERS
Former Law & Order actor Dennis Farina, 64, was arrested at LAX May 11 and released on $35,000 bail after he was allegedly found with a loaded handgun in his briefcase.
RECOVERING
Actor James Garner, 80, was hospitalized May 9 after suffering a minor stroke.
DEATHS
Eddy Arnold, 89, one of the most successful country artists of all time, died near Nashville May 8. "The impact he had was worldwide," says singer Vince Gill, "but to me that he was a kind and gentle man far surpasses anything he accomplished as a singer." • Painter, sculptor, photographer and performance artist Robert Rauschenberg, 82, celebrated for his use of everyday objects, died of heart failure at his home on Captiva Island, Fla., May 12.
