Kissing and Cuddling from Texas to the South of France, Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong Step Up Their New Romance

Partying at the Dolce & Gabbana bash in Cannes on May 23, Kate Hudson—in a form-fitting, white silk dress by the designers—and Lance Armstrong seemed filled with the spirit of l'amour. "Lance couldn't keep his hands off her," says an observer of the pair, who kissed throughout the night. "And sometimes when they were talking to other people, they would just smile at each other—these big goofy grins. Very cute."

From the cycling champ's hometown of Austin—where Hudson, 29, spent a weekend in mid-May relaxing with Armstrong, 36, and his three kids—to those lovestruck smiles in Cannes, the pair are pedaling full speed ahead. Though Hudson—who shares custody of son Ryder, 4, with her ex, Chris Robinson—was back on the New York set of her upcoming romantic comedy Bride Wars by May 27, the pair made time for a romantic boat ride in Monaco two nights earlier, with a smitten Armstrong hugging his new love close. Says a source: "They're wonderfully suited."

How's this for a small world? Hudson's recent ex, Owen Wilson, 39—the pair called it quits just last month—and Armstrong's former fiancée, Sheryl Crow, 46—from whom he split in 2006—are exes themselves: Crow and Wilson, who costarred in the 1999 film The Minus Man, dated for four years, ending in 2002.
