Heche agreed to pay her ex, whom she wed in 2001, a $275,000 lump sum and $3,700 per month in child support for their son Homer, 6. Three weeks earlier, Heche had requested that her $14,798 monthly payments be reduced because her income had been drastically reduced since the recent cancellation of her ABC series Men in Trees, which earned her about $65,000 an episode.

A children's charity operated by Get Smart star Anne Hathaway's boyfriend, real estate developer Raffaello Follieri, 29, is under investigation by the New York State attorney general's office, which declined to offer a reason. Hathaway, 25, formerly sat on the board of directors for the program, the financial records of which have been subpoenaed. A spokeswoman for Follieri said he and his attorney "have been cooperating fully" with the inquiry. • Former Law & Order star Dennis Farina, 64, was charged in L.A. Sportscaster and 13-time Emmy winner Jim McKay, 86, best remembered for relaying the murders of 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics in 1972 with the immortal phrase, "They're all gone," died in Monkton, Md., June 7.
