The best part about being pregnant? "I ate with no guilt!" says Without a Trace star Poppy Montgomery, who gained 70 lbs. in nine months by "overindulging" in Häagen-Dazs (her favorite flavor: Dulce de Leche) and giving in to her avocado cravings. "I loved every second of gaining that weight—and I would do it again!" But the fun couldn't last forever: Three weeks after giving birth to son Jackson last December (the father is her boyfriend of four years, actor Adam Kaufman, 34), Montgomery, 36, signed up for the meal-delivery service Sunfare, which restricted her to only 1,200 calories a day. She also exercised at home six days a week using the total-body workout DVD program P90X and by September was back in her pre-baby, size 27 jeans. "It was hard, but worth it," she says. "All that food made me so happy! And Jackson is the happiest baby ever."
