Michael Jackson on the Block
Never Made It to Neverland? Now Anyone Can Bid on More Than 2,000 of the Gloved One's Possessions Being Auctioned Off April 22-25 at Www.juliensauctions.com
The King of Pop famously wore this custom Swarovski crystal-covered right-hander in the '80s. No recession special here: It could go for $10,000-$15,000.
The pop star is decked in armor in this 1991 oil painting, worth approximately $3,000-$5,000, but if medieval isn't your thing, there's also artwork of MJ as Peter Pan, a king, a robot, Batman and a California Raisin from his '80s TV commercial.
This 1986 GMC High Sierra was converted into a fully functional fire truck (valued at $6,000-$8,000), in case of a Neverland emergency. Other auction vehicles include the 1954 Cadillac from Driving Miss Daisy.
DISNEY WORLD PINOCCHIO MASKS
These authentic 1985 Geppetto and Pinocchio masks from the theme park's stage production of the children's tale include their original tags and may fetch around $1,000-$1,500 for the pair.
Jackson donned this custom-made jacket at the post-9/11 United We Stand benefit (estimated value: $500-$700). Also up for bid are concert-worn T-shirts and stage costumes like a red rhinestone-studded spandex bodysuit. All of the Julien's Auctions' items will be on exhibit adjacent to the Beverly Hilton April 14-21, and a portion of the auction proceeds goes to MusiCares.
PORCELAIN MJ STATUE
Measuring 17 in. tall, this mini Michael-on-a-throne may run $200-$400. In the market for something larger? More than 100 life-size figures from Neverland—like five wax statues of Jackson, a 6-ft. toy soldier and a Bruce Lee replica—are also on the block.
117 ARCADE GAMES
In addition to Space Invaders (pictured), valued at $500-$700, the lot includes classics like Ms. Pacman, Frogger and Donkey Kong. You can also round out your rec room collection with MJ's pinball machines and air hockey table.
This child's bed, estimated at $400-$600, features built-in shelving. Jackson is also hawking a $250-$300 doll-size wooden canopy bed, including mattress, pillows and linens.
