When the Sprouse boys' big day—Aug. 4—came around, they decided to do something extra special: Invitations were sent out to some of the biggest teen stars in the biz, a huge cake with the twins' faces on it was ordered, and a Wii-playing extravaganza was planned for Aug. 9. "We never throw parties," says Dylan, but this time "we rented out a little place in Hollywood and Nintendo sponsored the party, so there were Wiis and TVs and music going. It was awesome." But even with all the cool gadgets, the best part of the party, says Cole, "was having different groups of our friends meet each other." Guests included Disney Channel stars Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place) and Moises Arias (Hannah Montana), plus other Hollywood teens like Jaden Smith (The Pursuit of Happyness) and Rachel Fox (Desperate Housewives).

Although the Sprouses did not get their driver's licenses in time to hit the road on their birthdays, by Christmas they were off and running. One big difference between the twins: Dylan drives a stick and Cole has an automatic. "I got the better end of the deal," says Dylan. "I can use the excuse, 'Oh, hey, Cole, you have to drive today because it's hard to drive stick in traffic.' "
