Nashville's Best Hair!
Love Jennifer Nettles' Bangs? Dream of Kellie's Bob? Star Stylists Give Tips on How You Can Get the Look
"Hair should slowly graduate to the front and be an inch shorter in the back," says Jennifer's stylist Frankie Foye. "Make sure it's cut with scissors. A razor will create frizz." For Jen's side-swept bangs "cut on an angle so it's short over one eye and longer over the other."
Long & Wavy
"The secret is shorter layers that start around the cheekbone, which give body," says stylist Crystal Keller of Nashville's Natural Oasis Day Spa and Salon (owned by Julianne's sister). But steer clear of this cut if you have baby fine or super straight hair—it just won't hold the curl.
"You need a shoulder-length cut—fuller at the top, skinny at the bottom—to create wispy ends," says Sara's stylist Kimberly Clo. Apply styling lotion on wet hair and blow out with a round brush.
The Mod Bob
"You'll want a modified bob that starts at the base of the neck and gets longer toward the front," advises Kellie's stylist Debbie Dover. "The front layer should begin at the chin. That creates a lightness around the face."
