"It was wonderful to catch up with the cast of Saved by the Bell—it's so hard to believe it's been 20 years"
St. Paul, Minn.
Thank you so much for your cover story on the Saved by the Bell gang. With such young faces as Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers on the scene now, it's nice for us twentysomethings to take a look back at the teen idols of our time. It's also great to know that they're still friends all these years later.
Palo Alto, Calif.
It was fun to read about the cast of Saved by the Bell and find out what they are all up to. Even now I can get sucked into watching an episode I've already seen so many times. That show was such good, wholesome fun that I doubt if it would be a hit today.

HOMELESS BOOK CLUB
What a phenomenal idea—books for the homeless! As an avid reader, I was touched not only by Peter Resnik's interest in feeding their spirit through a literary feast but that he was willing to take time away from his work, get involved and help out. Kudos to him and to your magazine for recognizing that the homeless are people too.
I appreciated your article on RSD patient John Roach and his decision to be put into a coma. Since being injured 11 years ago, I've done much research on the ketamine treatment, and it was helpful to read about Mr. Roach's experience. There's so little hope for those afflicted with this extremely painful and debilitating disease, and although this is a rather radical treatment, it does give patients hope for a more normal life.
It was exciting to read about David Beckham's trip to Sierra Leone and his passion about being a UNICEF ambassador. When my husband and I adopted three of our children from Sierra Leone in 2000, we vowed to continue to bring attention to the plight of this forgotten country. Thank you, Mr. Beckham, for giving Sierra Leoneans the gift of hope as they cry out for our help.
Johns Creek, Ga.
So Jennifer Lopez's birthday bash was a complete surprise, eh? Then why is she shown wearing a different dress during the party than the one she arrived in?
Reader Lisa Schoenherr of Milton, Fla., loved the viral video—now with more than 19 million views—of a Minnesota wedding party dancing down the aisle: "It made my day!" But some critics took the couple to task for dancing to "Forever," a song by Chris Brown, inadvertently promoting the singer who pleaded guilty to assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Newlyweds Jill Peterson and Kevin Heinz responded with a Web site, www.jkweddingdance.com, urging donations to combat domestic abuse. As a testament to the video's reach, the site has raised $15,400 from donors in 19 countries. "We hope to direct this positivity to a good cause," the couple say, adding, "Never stop dancing."
In our recent book People: Celebrate the '70s!, in an article about Village People, we inadvertently used the names of current members of the group in a caption for a photograph from an earlier era. We regret the error. (Right, Village People today, from left: Felipe Rose, Alexander Briley, Eric Anzalone, Jeff Olson, David Hodo; kneeling: Ray Simpson.)
