Greg Norman & Chris Evert

DOUBLE FAULT

It appears to be "game over" for tennis champ Chris Evert and golf great Greg Norman, who have separated after 15 months of marriage. After taking their romance public in late 2006—each had just split from a longtime spouse—the lovesick duo, both 54, embarked on a whirlwind, globe-trotting courtship and wed in June 2008. "Nothing eclipses this," Norman told PEOPLE at the time. But, a source says, "the lust faded, and reality set in." That reality included the inability to reach a compromise on key issues, including where to live. Evert remained in her Boca Raton, Fla., home with her kids, while Norman kept his Jupiter Island, Fla., mansion. So is it really game, set, match? Says Evert's rep: "Chris and Greg will remain friends and supportive of one another's family."

Justin & Jessica

'... DOING JUST FINE'

In recent weeks several tabloid and online reports have claimed that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have ended their two-year relationship. But Timberlake's rep insists "these rumors are getting out of control. Justin and Jessica are together and doing just fine." Despite time apart—Biel, 27, is in Vancouver filming The A-Team, while Timberlake, 28, remains in L.A.—the pair are still very much a couple. Says a source: "They have a lot of love and respect for each other."

But one day earlier Bloom, 32, and Kerr, 26, were spotted walking arm-in-arm in Paris (above), where she had a series of modeling gigs for Fashion Week. "They're together," a source tells Scoop.

Karina & Maksim

EXES AT ODDS

Shortly after Dancing with the Stars hoofers Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy called off their engagement in early September, pals say they were headed for a reconciliation. But now those hopes are gone: "I'm done," Maksim tells Scoop. "I feel completely betrayed." Sources say things came to a head when Maksim was informed that Karina was spending more and more time off the dance floor with season 9 partner Aaron Carter. "It's a personal issue," says Karina's rep.

TYLER'S SHOCKING CONFESSION

"I'm tired of holding this in. I don't know what to do with it anymore, so I've decided to give some of it away ...," Tyler Perry wrote on his Web site Oct. 3, recounting a childhood dominated by abuse. "As a child I always thought I would die before I grew up." After seeing the film Precious, based on the life of an abused young girl, Perry shared with fans the time his father, while drunk, beat him with an extension cord. He also writes of an incident in which a family member bathed him in ammonia. "By the grace of God I made it through."
