Lawsuits and Accusations ...
JON'S NEW LEGAL WOES
Although Jon and Kate Gosselin's small-screen drama may be subsiding, Jon's woes have found a new venue: the courts. On Oct. 16, two weeks after putting a stop to the filming of Kate Plus 8—the revamped show that he claimed was detrimental to the couple's children—TLC slapped him with a breach-of-contract suit. Claiming that his recent TV appearances did not "comply with his obligations," TLC also accused Jon, 32, of using his children to manipulate his contract to end the show. As a result, sources tell Scoop, the network only has enough footage to air a couple of episodes in November before pulling it off the air—possibly for good. In addition, Jon's facing an Oct. 26 court-ordered deadline to pay back $180,000 he removed from the joint bank account he still shares with Kate, 34. He seems unfazed: On Oct. 17 he was spotted kissing girlfriend Hailey Glassman, 22, in the back of a hansom cab in Manhattan before dining at the ritzy Oak Room.
Jennifer & John
YES, THEY'RE HANGING OUT!
Jennifer Aniston, 40, and John Mayer, 32, may not officially be back to making beautiful music together, but they are spending time with each other. The two, who most recently split in March after a second try at their relationship, were seen Sept. 24 getting cozy at N.Y.C.'s Bowery Hotel. So what gives? "They've remained close," says one source. Adds another: "They're simply enjoying their friendship."

IS LEO DATING WHITNEY PORT?
According to a recent tabloid report, The City starlet, 24, and Leonardo DiCaprio, 34, kicked off a "hush-hush affair" after meeting at a party in New York City several weeks ago. But it's news to them! "It's not true," says a source. "They don't even know each other."
When Bethenny Frankel, 38, debuted on The Real Housewives of New York City last year, she was neither a wife nor a mom. Talk about radical recasting—now she's engaged to beau Jason Hoppy and expecting her first child. Frankel is in her first trimester and craving pickles and salty olives. The wedding, she says, "could be something very sophisticated and New York or very cheesy and luauish with naked dancing." The gown? "I guess the mermaid dress is out!"
Bradley & Renée
After spending several days apart, Renée Zellweger, 40, flew to Vancouver Oct. 14 to visit beau Bradley Cooper, 34, who's there shooting The A-Team. The couple, joined by a few friends, dined Oct. 15 at Market: "They held hands underneath the table," a fellow diner tells Scoop. "They were very cute together and seemed very happy."
EXES AT WAR!
Supermodel Stephanie Seymour's divorce has turned ugly. According to The New York Post, court papers filed Oct. 7 state that her estranged husband—publishing exec Peter Brant, 62—is petitioning for sole custody of their kids (Peter Jr., 15, Harry, 13, and Lilly, 5) and alleging that the former Victoria's Secret stunner, 41, is a rehabbed Vicodin addict who has been submitting invalid urine samples for court-mandated drug and alcohol tests. Seymour filed for divorce in March. Neither of their lawyers would comment.

LINDSAY'S ROLLER-COASTER WEEK
After arriving 90 minutes late to an Oct. 16 court-ordered progress report for her two D.U.I. cases, Lindsay Lohan, 23, was slapped with an extra year of probation on her existing three-year sentence (originally handed down in August 2007) by a Beverly Hills judge. Yet another miscommunication had occurred between the starlet and her D.U.I. class instructors: She failed to tell them when she was returning from work overseas.
Just hours before her early-morning court appearance, Lohan hit up L.A. hot spot Voyeur, where she was spotted getting cozy with Balthazar Getty. The night after her court hearing, she followed up with a trip to two Hollywood clubs, partying past 4 a.m.
Lindsay's parents, Dina and Michael, publicly disagreed about their daughter's well-being—and each other. Michael claimed Lindsay is abusing prescription drugs and says he's seeking conservatorship. Dina shot back, "Focus on being a parent." A source claims Lindsay will seek a restraining order against her father.

HE SINGS! HE SWINGS!
Justin Timberlake's recent trip to Las Vegas was all about the kids. On Oct. 14 the singer hosted the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, which brought out musicians Josh Kelley and former N'Syncer Chris Kirkpatrick. Three days later Timberlake hosted the JT and Friends concert at Mandalay Bay with a lineup that included Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, TLC and Taylor Swift, whom he ribbed when she hit the stage. "There's plenty of security up front," he told her, with a cheeky nod to the Kanye West fiasco. "There will be no one to come up and interrupt this set!"
