Biggest Loser's Bob Harper
DINNER FOR FOUR UNDER $10
The trainer shares a simple but filling pasta recipe
TOMATO AND OLIVE PASTA
⢠1 lb. (16 oz.) of your favorite pasta (Harper prefers whole wheat), uncooked
⢠1 tbsp. olive oil
⢠3 cloves garlic
⢠¼ cup kalamata olives, pitted, sliced
⢠2 to 3 Roma tomatoes, chopped, or 1 (14.5-oz.) can diced tomatoes
⢠¼ cup walnuts, toasted, chopped
⢠8 to 10 fresh basil leaves, cut in thin strips
1. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over low heat. Add garlic, olives and toasted walnuts. Continue cooking, stirring frequently until garlic is tender and golden brown. Add tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes or until tomatoes are tender but not overcooked.
3. Gently incorporate basil and cooked pasta. Toss together and serve immediately.

FLYING HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
The CBS News Travel Editor's tips for getting good flight deals during this busy vacation season
TRAVEL ON THE HOLIDAY ITSELF
Heading to the airport on Thanksgiving or Christmas morningâinstead of, say, a day or two beforeâand returning the next day, can slash around 65 percent off the cost of your ticket, Greenberg says. "You satisfy your familial obligations," he notes, "but with less stress."
CHOOSE ODD ROUTES
Thinking about flying from Los Angeles to ring in 2010 in Hawaii? Instead of booking a direct route, try stopping in Salt Lake City. Yes, it may seem counterintuitive to fly east first, then back west, but "it's cheaper to go on a stop that's out of order," says Greenberg, who suggests airfarewatchdog.com for help finding the cheapest routes.
SKIP BIG-CITY AIRPORTS
Small airports just outside major cities "will be less crowded and thus less hecticâwhich means fewer delays," says Greenberg. So think Providence instead of Boston or Islip instead of New York City's LaGuardia.
BOOK AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE
Airlines are offering fewer flights, and with supply down, Greenberg says, "there will be a crazy rush to buy tickets," leading to higher ticket prices.
GETTING YOUR GIFTS THERE!
Don't bother packing presents in your carry-on or checked luggage. "Airport security will probably open them," Greenberg says. Instead, choose the "ground" shipping method from FedEx or UPS, which takes only three days; plus, "you don't have to worry about them being safe."
