Injectibles! Nose Jobs! Breast Augmentations! Celebs 'fess Up About Going Under the Needle—or the Knife
MARIEL HEMINGWAY, AGE 48
Getting older in Hollywood is "hard as hell!" admits Mariel Hemingway, who started acting at age 13. No surprise then that the actress-turned-author (her latest book, Mariel's Kitchen: Simple Ingredients for a Delicious and Satisfying Life, came out last spring) has dabbled in nearly every antiaging remedy out there. "I did try Botox," she says. "I'm not opposed to a little something to soften things." She has also tried fillers, which she injected into her laugh lines and above her upper lip, and even had her lips plumped up, "but it was all wrong," she says. "I felt bloated." Today, Hemingway is trying to stick to all-natural options. "I use night clay. I use a hot peel. I do a pumpkin peel. I do something every day!" she says. The one thing she won't resort to? A face-lift—well, at least not yet. "I say no now, but I don't know," she says. "I'm still in a place where I don't think it makes a person look better."
