Blige, Rob Thomas, Ryan Seacrest, Santana, Jon Bon Jovi and Jennifer Hudson; (back row, from left) will.i.am, Fergie, Slash, Maxwell and Ke$ha.

CLIVE'S CLASS OF 2010

"In the music world, Clive is a planet," Ryan Seacrest says of legendary Sony Music exec Clive Davis, 77. And as always, the stars were happy to cluster around him for PEOPLE's exclusive shoot. With the club hits bumping, Jon Bon Jovi toasted the Black Eyed Peas, Ke$ha danced with Carlos Santana, and Jennifer Hudson ooh-ed over Carrie Underwood's sparkler. Says the country star of Davis's pre-Grammy bash: "It's nice to get together and party. Clive's a wonderful host!"

TAYLOR'S TRIUMPH

Of her Album of the Year win (she beat out Lady Gaga and Beyoncé), Taylor Swift said, "I just hope you know how much this means to me ... that we get to take this back to Nashville!"

THE SHOW!

PINK'S SOAK DU SOLEIL

She soared with a wet-and-wild aerial rendition of "Glitter in the Air," later tweeting, "I had so much fun tonight ... I got a standing [ovation]. Happy."

Beyoncé Knowles, JULEZ SMITH AND JUSTIN BIEBER

The night's six-time winner posed with her nephew, 5, and big fan Bieber, while Jay-Z playfully said, "Watch yourself!"

CELINE DION AND LADY GAGA

The Canadian star was transfixed by Gaga, who sat one row in front of her, toting a teacup.

THE BLACK EYED PEAS

"I'd like to rap with Susan Boyle," will.i.am (left, seated) told PEOPLE before he and his bandmates took home three Grammys.

GRAMMY COUPLES WATCH

CARRIE UNDERWOOD AND MIKE FISHER

She brought her hockey-star fiancé to their first Grammys together.

BRITNEY SPEARS AND JASON TRAWICK

The singer took her agent boyfriend to her first Grammys in several years.

The Grammys doubled as date night for Fergie and Josh Duhamel, Katy Perry and Russell Brand, and Beyoncé and Jay-Z. With Jason Trawick in tow, Britney Spears had "a relaxing night," says a source. But the Most Adorable Couple trophy could have gone to Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher. "He's wonderful!" she says. "Our relationship is very long-distance. If it's worth it, you'll make it work—and we definitely do. Any spare minute we have, we're together." With free time so scarce, she's no bridezilla: "We made some of the big decisions. [But] I don't care about details. I just want to show up and have a good time!"

RUSSELL BRAND, KATY PERRY AND RIHANNA

The three pals got goofy at Clive Davis's pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton.

THE PARTIES!

Grammy-goers relived the highlights at L.A. Reid's dinner at Cecconi's restaurant in West Hollywood (the telecast played on flat-screen TVs), where Jennifer Lopez led the cheers for Beyoncé and gushed over Rihanna's outfit while Marc Anthony cracked up Jay-Z all night ... Natasha Bedingfield, Slash and Lady Antebellum hit the EMI bash at the W Hollywood ... Kings of Leon—who were "happy drunk," Caleb Followill said, after winning the Record of the Year award—kept the party going at Voyeur in West Hollywood with MGMT, the Fray and Joe Jonas.

DOUBLE DATE

Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden left the kids at home for a grown-ups' night out at the L.A. Reid bash.

CORY MONTEITH AND TAYLOR SWIFT

"I might have a little crush on [Taylor]," the Glee star told PEOPLE a few months before getting cozy with her at Clive's.
