The moment Mom and Dad finished their vows, the five siblings burst into applause. Any children would celebrate their parents' wedding, but this was particularly special: After 20 years, surrounded in the tiny Virgen del Carmen church in Marbella, Spain, by Miguel, Rodrigo, Guillermo and twins Cristina and Victoria, singer Julio Iglesias and Dutch model Miranda Rijnsburger were finally named husband and wife. "They understood what the day meant and were very moved by it," says Iglesias, 66, of the private ceremony for their family. (His children by his first wife, daughter Chirabel and sons Julio Jr. and Enrique, did not attend.)
Just last March, Iglesias himself marvelled that he and Miranda, 44, who wore Oscar de la Renta, had not yet wed. "Sometimes I don't understand it," he revealed. "We've talked about a wedding five or six times. We've even made wedding plans before." So why now? "2010 marks 20 years of our love," he says. "It's the culmination of many years of unconditional support, a relationship that brought us five children who are our hearts."
