Buddy joins sisters Poppy Honey Rosie, 8, Daisy Boo Pamela, 7, and Petal Blossom Rainbow, 1. • Big Love actor Patrick Fabian, 45, has a new love. He and his wife, comedian Mandy Steckelberg, 38, welcomed Abbey Ray on Sept. 15. "Being a father for the first time is fantastic," gushed Fabian, who is a big Beatles fan and named Abbey after the famously trodden London road.
A jury awarded $40,000 in damages to Harlen Akins, 42, in a civil trial about a 2007 fight with Kid Rock, 39, and five others at a DeKalb County, Ga., Waffle House. The singer-who pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of simple battery-was only held responsible for some $6,000 of the verdict. • Joe Giudice, 40, husband of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa, 38, has been sentenced to 10 days in a New Jersey jail. Giudice was stopped in May for driving with a suspended license stemming from a March DWI conviction. The judge also fined Giudice $1,500, and his license was suspended for a year.
Looks like illusionist David Blaine, 37, will have a regular gig doing magic at kids' birthday parties. Blaine and his fiancee, the French model Alizee Guinochet, 24, are expecting a child next year.
Actress Billie Mae Richards, 88, a veteran of Canadian radio who was best known as the voice of Rudolph (inset) in the 1964 TV classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, died Sept. 17 in Burlington, Ont. • The family of Edwin Newman announced that the veteran NBC newsman died Aug. 13 in Oxford, England, at age 91. The award-winning Today show anchor regularly appeared on Meet the Press and announced on the radio the death of President John F. Kennedy.
A thousand friends, family members and fashionistas gathered at London's St. Paul's Cathedral on Sept. 20 to pay tribute to designer Alexander McQueen, who committed suicide in February at the age of 40. His admirers included designer Stella McCartney and actress Sarah Jessica Parker.
THE DIVORCE IS OFF!
Former Victoria's Secret supermodel Stephanie Seymour, 42, and her publishing tycoon husband, Peter Brant, 63, have called off what can at best be described as a bitter divorce. The couple, who have three children, have accused each other of everything from infidelity and drug abuse to stalking. They have now joined forces and responded to a New York Post interview by Brant's alleged mistress, Alyssa Pallett, 24 (inset), who called Brant "controlling." In a joint statement the couple dismissed Pallett as "seeking to promote herself in such a shameless manner."
