OVER AND OUT

THREE SPLIT CELEBRITY COUPLES ARE MOVING ON

Backstage at the Scream Awards in L.A. Oct. 16, David Arquette looked subdued when a friend offered him condolences about his recent separation from wife Courteney Cox Arquette. The actor replied with a shrug, "That's life. Everything ends for a reason. So onward and upward." Arquette, 39, and Cox, 46, reunited for 6-year-old daughter Coco's horse show on Oct. 17, but they are living separate lives-she's in their Malibu home and on the Cougar Town set; he's based at their Beverly Hills house and developing a show for the Roosevelt Hotel with comedian Jeff Beacher. Also recently separated, Christina Aguilera has taken her split with Jordan Bratman one step further. On Oct. 14 the pop star, 29, filed for divorce before flying to Honolulu's new Waikiki Edition hotel with a group of pals for a weekend that included a sunset sailing trip and dinner parties. She appeared "reserved," says one witness. Adds another: "She was in good spirits and gracious, but quiet unless she was with her group." Bratman, 33, stayed in L.A. with their son Max, 2.

And six months after they parted ways, Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy are now happily into the dating scene: McCarthy, 38, says she's being "open and truthful" with her new boyfriend Jason Toohey, 35, a former fitness model and skin-care entrepreneur. Carrey, 48, has become "a flirt with mad game," says a source who's seen him in action at Manhattan's Travertine restaurant in recent weeks. His most memorable pickup line? "I want to run my fingers through your soul."

JUSTIN BIEBER'S LASER-TAG TUSSLE

AW, SHOOT!

On Oct. 15, days before Bieber fever was set to hit Vancouver as part of the mop-topped singer's My World Tour, Justin Bieber was letting off steam at Planet Lazer, a laser-tag center outside the city. As lasers flew, a group of boys-including a 12-year-old-allegedly surrounded Biebs, taunting him. An unidentified employee told a Canadian website that Bieber, 16, "accidentally hit the kid while running away." The 12-year-old boy's father called the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who said they are investigating an alleged assault between two minors and "speaking to individuals who may have witnessed the incident." Police say the boy did not receive any medical attention.

HEIDI MONTAG ONE YEAR LATER

I REGRET IT ALL

She underwent 10 plastic surgeries in a single day, and now, a year later, Heidi Montag admits she regrets it all. "I will never have surgery again," the reality star, 24, tells Scoop. Montag likes her post-surgery body and face but says the painful journey just "wasn't worth it." And although she has said she planned to have her breast size reduced from DDD, she now states, "I just don't want to put my body under the knife again. I would rather have a little bit too big of breasts than risk my life again."

FALL MOVIE LOOKALIKES

The cineplex is full of based-on-a-true-story fare; how closely do the stars resemble their real-life counterparts?

SECRETARIAT

DIANE LANE (far left, alongside Nelsan Ellis) gets the hair and clothes right to play the Triple Crown winner's owner, PENNY CHENERY. But Chenery's natural, outdoorsy good looks (left, with jockey Ron Turcotte in 1973) make Lane seem a tad too glam for the horses.

THE SOCIAL NETWORK

JESSE EISENBERG and Facebook chief MARK ZUCKERBERG look like curly cousins; extra kudos to Eisenberg for nailing Zuck's stare.

FAIR GAME

NAOMI WATTS and outed spy VALERIE PLAME could frequent the same salon, but Watts is more Hollywood than the D.C. maven.

127 HOURS

JAMES FRANCO can't replicate hiker ARON RALSTON's facial hair (much less his face), but he totally gets Ralston's zest for life.

CASINO JACK

KEVIN SPACEY, who visited JACK ABRAMOFF in prison, mimics the disgraced former lobbyist's persona, not his person.

CONVICTION

HILARY SWANK may not favor BETTY ANNE WATERS, but she nicely captures Waters' fierce loyalty to her imprisoned brother.

THE KING'S SPEECH

Twins? Nah. At best, COLIN FIRTH and KING GEORGE VI are brothers from another mother, with Firth perfectly aping the king's stutter.

MEET PRINCE HARRY'S ROCKING NEW GIRL!

Prince Harry appears to be a gentleman who prefers blondes. After quietly splitting from his on-again, off-again girlfriend of nearly seven years, Chelsy Davy, 25 (conventional wisdom is that distance-she lives in South Africa-caused the breakup), the prince has hardly been lonely. The British tabloid News of the World recently linked him to Camilla Romestrand, a Norwegian rocker who fronts the band Eddie the Gun. "She talks about staying overnight at 'the Palace' " with a friend, a source told the paper, adding Prince Harry, 26, served her breakfast in bed. But other sources link the prince with marketing professional Gemma Wilkinson, a Chelsy lookalike who was reportedly partying with him at his favorite London nightspot, Raffles. The prince's office isn't looking to clear up any rumors. In right royal tradition, they simply declined to comment.

KIM KARDASHIAN IS 3-OH!

When you grow up Kardashian, one party, on one coast, will not do-so Kim Kardashian had two! The reality star, who's 30 on Oct. 21, hit Tao Las Vegas Oct. 15 for a b-day bash with family, including her costar sisters Khloe and Kourtney and pals Kelly Rowland and LaLa Vazquez. "Sometimes I'm like, 'Oh, God, I'm turning 30,' " she told Scoop. "It sounds so old. And then the other half of me is like, 'I feel so accomplished.' " Decked out in spiked Christian Louboutin heels (a gift from her sibs), she kept the party going the next night at Tao New York's 10-year anniversary with pals Adrian Grenier, Missy Elliott and Ciara and a "Happy Birthday" serenade by Lil' Jon.
