Kelsey Grammer, 55, is planning to take his fourth trip down the aisle, with his British girlfriend, Kayte Walsh, 29. According to the actor's rep, "They have been engaged for a while." In October the couple announced that Walsh, a flight attendant, had suffered a miscarriage. Grammer's wife of 13 years, Camille, 42, filed for divorce from the former Frasier star in July.
In a private sunset ceremony near the ocean on Maui, Danny Bonaduce, 51, married his manager, Amy Railsback, 28, on Nov. 22. It's the third marriage for the former Partridge Family star, who has been dating Railsback, a former substitute teacher, for three years.
ON THE MEND
Television host Nate Berkus, 39, is recuperating at home after undergoing an emergency appendectomy on Nov. 30 in New York City. After soldiering through a Today show appearance in spite of feeling very ill, Berkus called his fellow friend-of-Oprah Dr. Mehmet Oz, who diagnosed the problem as appendicitis and told the design expert he needed to go to the hospital right away. The surgery was performed immediately, and Berkus was released the following day. • Justin Timberlake, 29, injured his calf muscle on Dec. 1 while filming an action sequence for the sci-fi thriller Now in Los Angeles. Work on the film was suspended while the Social Network star recovers, but it is expected to resume shortly.
Only a year after their wedding, musician Jane Carrey, 23, and her husband, singer Alex Santana, have pulled the plug on their marriage. The daughter of actor Jim Carrey and her spouse are parents to Jackson, 9 months. • It was recently revealed that Neve Campbell, 37, filed for divorce from her husband, British actor John Light, 36, in June. The couple wed in 2007.
Elaine Kaufman, 81, the proprietor of the famous Upper East Side restaurant that bears her name, succumbed to complications of emphysema on Dec. 3 in Manhattan. For nearly five decades the feisty Kaufman presided as den mother over a celebrity clientele, keeping a special place in her heart for writers, including Tennessee Williams, Tom Wolfe, George Plimpton, Norman Mailer and Gay Talese. The restaurateur made a cameo appearance in the recent film Morning Glory.
'DANDY DON' PASSES AWAY
Don Meredith, 72, who found fame as an original member of both the Dallas Cowboys and the Monday Night Football crew, died of a brain hemorrhage on Dec. 5 in Santa Fe. As the Cowboys' starting quarterback from 1965 to 1968, the affable Texan led the team to three straight division titles before retiring in 1969. He soon joined MNF (left, with Howard Cosell and Frank Gifford in 1980), where his folksy wit and charm made him one of the sports world's most popular broadcasters.
