Little Fockers star Owen Wilson, 42, will have a real-life youngster of his own later this year. The actor and his girlfriend, Jade Duell, 28, "are happy to be expecting a baby," his rep confirmed on Jan. 10. The couple have been together for about a year. • Oscar winner Marion Cotillard, 35 (inset), and her boyfriend, French actor-director Guillaume Canet, 37, will become parents this spring. The Inception star has been dating Canet for three years.
After a whirlwind eight-month romance, model Petra Nemcova, 31, has confirmed she plans to marry British actor Jamie Belman. The couple, who were introduced by mutual friends, have not set a date for the nuptials but spent Christmas together celebrating with their families. Nemcova lost her previous fiancé, photographer Simon Atlee, six years ago during the Indian Ocean tsunami, when Atlee was washed away by the waves while the couple were vacationing in Thailand. • Also making wedding plans is The View cohost Sherri Shepherd, 43, who accepted a proposal from TV writer Lamar Sally, 40. The actress was previously married to comedian Jeff Tarpley, with whom she has son Jeffrey, 5. The couple will tie the knot in Chicago this August. • Actress Vivica A. Fox, 46, is wearing an 8-carat sparkler, courtesy of her new fiancé, Atlanta club promoter Omar "Slim" White, 26. Fox's four-year marriage to singer Christopher Harvest ended in 2002. • On Christmas Day, nine months after they met, Skating with the Stars champ Rebecca Budig, 37, became engaged to television marketing executive Michael Benson. This will be the third walk down the aisle for the All My Children actress, whose previous marriage, to former Bachelor prize Bob Guiney, ended in 2010 after five years.
On Jan. 10 in Austin, Texas, former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, 63, was sentenced to three years in prison for conspiracy to commit money laundering. The fallen political powerhouse, who was known as the Hammer for his hardball approach to pushing through legislation, was convicted in November of helping to divert corporate funds to get Republican candidates elected to the Texas legislature in 2002. DeLay was released on $10,000 bond as his lawyers vowed to appeal the sentence. "I can't be remorseful for something I don't think I did," said the onetime exterminator and Dancing with the Stars contestant. DeLay had been facing a life sentence behind bars.
Soccer superstar David Beckham, 35, and his wife, Victoria, 36, are expecting a baby this summer. The couple are already parents to three boys: Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8 and Cruz, 5. The Los Angeles Galaxy dynamo said last year, "I'd love a little girl to join our three beautiful sons."
