Numerologists weren't the only fans of Nov. 11, 2011. Stars chose 11/11/11 as the day to tie-and retie-the knot: Actors Jerry O'Connell, 37, and Rebecca Romijn, 39, wed again after four years of marriage. "I said to Rebecca, 'We should renew our vows at 11:11 and 11 seconds on 11/11,' " O'Connell explained. "And she said, 'We should do it at 11th Street and 11th Avenue.' " The family, including twin girls Charlie and Dolly, 2, is in New York City while he stars in the Broadway comedy Seminar. "I didn't think [the occasion] was going be so emotional," he says, "but it was!" • Grammy-winning songwriter and music producer David Foster, 62, tied the knot with Dutch former model Yolanda Hadid, 47, in front of famous guests including singer Michael Buble, saxophonist Kenny G, actress Kate Hudson, singer Avril Lavigne and deejay Samantha Ronson. • Former My Name Is Earl star Jason Lee, 41, and his wife of three years, model Ceren Alkac, took another trip down the aisle in Los Angeles. The couple have daughter Casper, 3, and Lee has son Pilot Inspektor, 8, with an ex-fiancee. • Hail Marry! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak, 33, married Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann, 26, at their home in Roswell, Ga. They have 5-month-old son Kroy Jagger Jr., and the reality star bride has daughters Brielle, 14, and Ariana, 10.
It's a boy for former Third Watch star Nia Long, 41, and her boyfriend, pro basketball player Ime Udoka, 34, who welcomed Kez Sunday on Nov. 7. The actress also has son Massai, 11, from a previous relationship.
Pretty Little Liars star Holly Marie Combs (inset), 37, has filed for divorce from her husband of seven years, David Donoho, 46, who worked as a key grip on her previous show Charmed. The pair have three sons: Finley, 7, Riley, 5, and Kelley, 2.
Influential hip-hop artist Heavy D died at 44 in Beverly Hills Nov. 8, one day after seeing a doctor for flu-like symptoms. An autopsy was inconclusive, said a spokesman for the coroner's office, which is awaiting toxicology results. Born Dwight Errington Myers in Jamaica, the Mount Vernon, N.Y.-bred rapper was best known for such hits as 1991's "Now That We Found Love" and 1997's "Big Daddy." He also acted on several TV shows and in films, including the Oscar-winning The Cider House Rules in 1999. A funeral is set for Nov. 18 in his New York hometown.
BREAST CANCER ADVOCATE EVELYN LAUDER DIES
Lauder, the cocreator of the iconic pink ribbon campaign for breast cancer awareness, died at 75 from complications of ovarian cancer in N.Y.C. on Nov. 12. Evelyn, the wife of Estee Lauder's son Leonard, 78, introduced the popular pink ribbon with former Self magazine editor-in-chief Alexandra Penney in 1992, after being diagnosed with breast cancer in the late '80s. British actress Elizabeth Hurley, a longtime Estee Lauder spokesmodel and friend of 17 years, called her "an amazing woman," adding that Lauder, who founded the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, "inspired me in so many ways."
