As CEO of Bankable Enterprises-her company that produces her hit show America's Next Top Model-Tyra Banks bonds with her New York staff of eight by playing board games on Mondays. "As a kid I hated Sundays. So I created something where my team is excited on Sunday night, like, 'I am going to kick butt when I get to the office!'" says Banks, 37.
PURSUE HIGHER EDUCATION
"My career has been based on my gut, but I want to take it to the next level," says Banks, who graduates from Harvard's Owner/President Management program next February. "It's been fulfilling, even though I have fears of getting called on and not having the answer."
STAY ON MESSAGE
Whether she's on her show or promoting her new bestseller Modelland, Banks's mission statement never wavers: "The bad girls don't win. If they do, they went through a humbling transformation."
KEEP YOUR OFFICE FOOD-FREE
"I don't like to eat at my desk. It's so important to get your butt out of the office. If there's a deadline, I still say, 'Let's get out of the office.' We talk work, but at least we're outside."
