FOR BREAKING CELEBRITY NEWS EVERY DAY
She's staying out of trouble and winning praise from her judge. It appears, quite literally, that Lindsay Lohan
has made an about-face: The actress, 25, stunned onlookers at an art show for pal Domingo Zapata in L.A. Feb. 22 with her dramatic new appearance. "Lindsay looked like she had work done," says an eyewitness. New York City plastic surgeon Jon Turk, who has not treated Lohan, speculates the actress had filler injections, "like Restylane or Juvederm" to resculpt her lips and cheekbones. "At 25, you rarely see people doing anything to their cheeks because most of the loss of volume there is due to aging, and that really starts in the 30s and 40s," he says. "Usually if people are doing their cheeks in their 20s, they're trying to change their appearance" by "building their cheekbones up to make their face look a little thinner, but that's not really what she needs to do." Sadly, he adds, celebs overuse filler because "nobody around them can be honest and say what they think looks good on them and what doesn't." One of the most honest people in Lohan's life of late is Judge Stephanie Sautner, who told the actress in an L.A. courtroom Feb. 22 that "you seem like you're getting your life back on track, and that's what we all hoped for." Sautner, a former narcotics and sex-crimes dectective, has been credited with saving Lohan with a rigid probation schedule. Up next for the star is an appearance on Saturday Night Live
March 3. Says a pal, producer Nathan Folks: "She's a good, loving and caring person despite what people have said. She's making a huge comeback."
OUT OF REHAB
Gerard Butler hasn't let his recent stint in rehab slow him down. Shortly after successfully completing treatment for an addiction to prescription drugs, the actor, 42, was spotted working out at his gym in L.A., where he "looked very healthy and was in a great mood," says an onlooker. That night, Butler made the rounds at pre-Oscar parties, including the Weinstein Company's fete at Soho House, where he enjoyed the attention of female guests while drinking what appeared to be soda. "He feels really good right now," says a source. "He's looking forward to getting back to work."
