BOBBI KRISTINA HER LIFE NOW
After keeping a low profile following the Feb. 11 death of her mother, Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, 19, is ready to face the world-and it seems with a new boyfriend to boot. Her Oprah interview aired March 11, and the following day she was cozy and happy at a Starbucks in Atlanta with Nick Gordon, 22. Their dating status may be recent, but Gordon is no stranger to the family-he's reportedly been living with the family since Houston took him in more than 10 years ago and raised him like a son. "I have always felt there was some interest beyond a platonic interest in each other," says a close family friend. "It appeared to me that Nippy [Houston's nickname] either didn't see it or didn't want to address it." Now it's hard to miss: On March 9 they were seen hugging and kissing at a local Target in Atlanta, according to Hollywoodlife.com, and Gordon hinted at their relationship on Twitter. "Good morning everyone. Their [sic] lots of fake people pretending to be MY Krissi," he posted on March 13. "Yeah we gotta little closer and what!!" Meanwhile, they continue to live together in Houston's Atlanta home-but possibly not for much longer now that it's on the market. Proceeds will go to Brown, who, according to her mom's will, is the sole heir of the singer's estate, which is worth an estimated $7.4 million. Reports that Houston was broke at the time of her death are exaggerated-and any advances she took out against her six-album contract deal with Sony Music can be recouped by the company, which owns all the rights to the singer's music. It's unlikely her estate will ever see Michael Jackson-like numbers. "They would need to get very savvy in investing for it to really get some growth potential. [Whitney's estate] may only grow by at the most $500,000," says a celebrity money manager. "She didn't have the financial advisers he did."
JOHN MAYER WILL HE SING AGAIN?
His comeback was sidelined before it even began. Following surgery on his vocal cords last fall, John Mayer, 34, revealed that the granuloma has returned. "I'm pretty emotionally burnt out at the moment," he wrote on Tumblr March 9. A close source says Mayer, who is now on indefinite hiatus, "was so ready for this tour ... but he just needs to take care of himself." His manager Michael McDonald tells Scoop that Mayer "is able to speak" and remains "upbeat." Can he resume his career? Yes, according to Dr. Mark S. Courey, professor of otolaryngology at UCSF (who has not treated Mayer), but "it's a matter of retraining the vocal style to produce a voice with less force. [If patients] do this, the granulomas usually go away."
SCOUT WILLIS TWEET & LOW
Upon first inspection it seemed like the racy secret life of Scout Willis, 20-the middle daughter of Demi Moore, 49, and Bruce Willis, 57-had been discovered. A Twitter account with detailed posts of hard partying was discovered by ivygateblog.com. Scout, a junior at Brown, also posted zingers like, "I hate capitalism like I hate my parents but they both serve me so well." The page was quickly taken down. "Scout, whose project was up to be workshopped that week, created a Twitter feed that satirized the idea of the trustafarian," her instructor Nalini Abhiraman told Scoop, explaining that the "Bougpunk" posts generated by Willis and two friends were fakes and part of a writing workshop that "focused on the use of language and text in digital art."
I'm broke so I'm living off leftovers. By which I mean local, organic roasted chicken and truffle polenta.
I'm always getting emotionally involved with coke heads.
Just stole some menthol lip balm, take that American Apparel.
I just smoked a bowl in the bath tub and read poetry.
THE OTHER WILLIS GIRLS
Demi Moore hasn't been seen since her return to L.A. March 4, but daughters Rumer, 23, and Tallulah, 18, have been out. Rumer spent time with mom's ex Ashton Kutcher March 6, when he cheered on the budding singer at a gig in Hollywood.
HALLE BERRY'S BIG NEWS
Not all Halle Berry updates happen in court. The actress, 45, confirmed she's engaged to longtime BF Olivier Martinez, 46, and has been sporting her one-of-a-kind emerald sparkler (see inset). She's also just returned from Germany, where she launched her first women's shoe line. Despite all the good news, her custody battle with ex Gabriel Aubry, 36, over their daughter Nahla, 4, remains bitter. L.A. family-law attorney Steve Mindel says, "The judge may not look favorably if he decides [Halle's] marriage is designed to exclude Aubry as the child's father and replace him with another man."
HALLE IS A SHOE DESIGNER!
On March 5 the actress teamed with German retailer Deichmann to debut 5th Avenue by Halle Berry. Only available in Europe, the line includes heels, peep-toe wedges and strappy sandals.
ADELE'S BRIGHTON BEACH ESCAPE!
Grammy winner and...real estate tycoon? Now renting a 25-acre estate in West Sussex, Adele, 23, has scooped up even more property. Her new $3.1 million Brighton beach home boasts four bedrooms, a private beach, a balcony and terraces. (Billboard estimates the singer raked in $13 million in 2011.) In addition to beautiful views and easy access to the water, the area is a mere five-minute commute to her boyfriend Simon Konecki's office.

CATCHING UP WITH...
YOU PLAY A GUIDANCE COUNSELOR IN DETACHMENT-WHAT'S YOUR BEST ADVICE?
To not let other people's judgment interfere with your dreams.
WHAT KIND OF TRAINING DID YOU DO FOR YOUR COP ROLE ON TV'S SOUTHLAND?
We did everything-gun training and evasive driving, which was really scary, but thrilling. We shot tasers, machine guns and rifles; we learned handcuffing. It was intense. I got pretty banged up.
YOUR CASTING AS THE FIRST FEMALE DR. WATSON IN A TV PILOT IS GETTING A LOT OF BUZZ.
It's crazy. The show, Elementary, isn't even shot yet. But I think it's important to try new things and break rules.
HOW DO YOU UNWIND?
I have an art studio in my apartment in New York, and I just make a mess of it-throwing paint around.
