It's almost noon, and Nick Jonas
and his golden retriever Elvis are eager to hit the city streets. Now starring on Broadway in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying
(he takes over from Daniel Radcliffe
's Darren Criss), the youngest member of the Jonas Brothers band, 19, considers sidewalk strolls part of his prep work. "The vibe I get from the city each day inspires me to give the best show I can every night," he says. For Elvis, the move from L.A. has been tricky. "He's still trying to figure out how to interact with other dogs," says Jonas. But for the newly-single Manhattanite, settling into the rhythms of the city couldn't be sweeter: "It's a great time in my life."
