FOR BREAKING CELEBRITY NEWS EVERY DAY
ARNOLD & MARIA
They've been living apart for 10 months, but Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger were all smiles Feb. 28 as they lunched with friends at Ivy at the Shore in Santa Monica. "They were very friendly and seemed to enjoy spending time together," says a source. Soon rumors were flying: Could it be-eight months after Shriver, 56, filed for divorce in the wake of Schwarzenegger's admission he had fathered a 14-year-old child with former housekeeper Mildred Baena-that the divorce is off? Apparently not. "Even though my wife and I are going through a divorce, I want to make sure that we have a family that really loves each other and that we have a great relationship," Schwarzenegger, 64, said on March 2, while in town for the annual Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio. What about the rumors that the couple are in counseling? Also untrue, says a source close to Shriver, who struggled with the decision before filing for divorce last July. "The divorce is proceeding." Adds another family insider: "After so many years together, there is still a great deal of respect between them, and there is real love."

CHRISTIE BRINKLEY & PETER COOK
PAYS TO BE NICE
Nearly four years since they finalized their divorce, Christie Brinkley, 58, and Peter Cook, 53, are still at war. So much so that they mutually agreed to face a $5,000 fine for each derogatory remark they make to each other. How good is your math? Brinkley wants her ex fined $140,000 for violating the order. According to Brinkley's attorney Tom Campagna, Cook sent at least 28 offensive e-mails. "These are clearly outright name-calling ... the most vile e-mails," he said. Meanwhile Cook, who admits he called her a "liar and narcissist," claims to have 47 inflammatory e-mails from her and her attorney and has filed a rebuttal. "This is the act of a very angry, vengeful woman who has not moved on," he told PEOPLE.
