Lorenzo Dominic

6 lbs. 5 oz.

Emerging from her room in full makeup, Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi demands, 'Where's my baby?'

After spotting her 6-day-old infant Lorenzo Dominic (born Aug. 26) snoozing in his grandma's arms (Polizzi, 24, and her fiance, Jionni LaValle, 25, live with his parents in New Jersey), the Jersey Shore MTV star relaxed-and was ready to strike a pose: "What am I wearing?" But in her suddenly mommyfied world, "bottle service" has a whole new meaning. "When I got pregnant, everything changed," says Polizzi. "The partying is long gone. I'm a new person."

Congratulations! Has it set in yet that you two are parents?

Nicole: It feels like we have a new best friend, and we're hanging out. We didn't expect it to be this fun.

Jionni: It is only Day 4 ... This was not planned, right?

Nicole: I always wanted to get married early and have kids early. I was aiming for 26, so I'm two years early. Jionni: We never thought twice! Nicole: Everybody said, "What's gonna happen [with your career]?" I was like, "I'm having this kid. If it ruins everything, I'll get a normal job from 10 to 5." I didn't give a s---. You were in labor for 26 hours.

Nicole: I was nervous, because I don't like pain and I didn't know what to expect. So I got an epidural.

Jionni: She did her makeup in the delivery room. Nicole: Before I was pushing, I put bronzer on and [false] eyelashes. I wanted to look pretty for him!

What was it like to see Lorenzo for the first time?

Nicole: When the head was out, I was asking everyone if he looked cute-and he's adorable.

Jionni: Then they just threw him right on her stomach.

Nicole: I was crying and said, "I love you so much." It's a different kind of love that I never felt before.

You were adopted. Did that change the experience at all?

Nicole: No, but my mom was in the delivery room, and I think it was more special for her.

Do you take turns waking up with him?

Jionni: That was our plan: She's a night person and I'm a morning person, but we get up together.

Nicole: We kind of fight over it.

Jionni: She'll be changing him, and then I'll nudge her out of the way. She freaks out and gets so mad!

Nicole, are you breast-feeding?

Nicole: At the hospital he was kind of latching on, but we decided to use formula because he wasn't gaining enough weight. But I'm pumping and I'm definitely going to try again, because now it's squirting out.

How did you decide on the name?

Jionni: We were going back and forth, and I just happened to think of Lorenzo. She loved it.

Nicole: And Dominic's my uncle, who died. So I did it for my dad.

How has the baby changed you?

Nicole: It's just made me mature and made me realize that life isn't about going out and going crazy; it's more about family and love.

Has Lorenzo met any of your Jersey Shore castmates?

Nicole: Deena and Jenni. To show them my baby was weird, but they love it. Deena brought me a Slim Jim and I ate it in, like, a second! And everyone got me gifts. It was cute. Any chance you'll hit a club soon?

Nicole: I still want a glass of wine and to have fun, but I have no intentions of going to a club. I'm over it. I'd rather stay home with our son. That's fun. Have you had a drink yet?

Nicole: It's too early. I just gave birth! I want to make sure it's the right time, because I'm recovering. It hurts!

Jionni: She's definitely more of an addict for Slim Jims.

Speaking of diet, how will you get back into shape?

Nicole: I'm definitely trying to eat healthier-grilled chicken and vegetables-and I can't really work out for six weeks, but then I'll start hard-core training. I'll get a trainer or I'll try a boot camp or go back to hot yoga. I gained 35 lbs., but I've already lost 10. I'll bounce back. Any wedding plans yet?

Nicole: He has a huge family, so it's probably going to be a big wedding, but I want it to be normal. No helicopters! And I'll wear something sparkly, blingy and white. And my bridesmaids will wear leopard print.

Do you want more kids?

Nicole: I want four-

Jionni: Three boys and a girl.

Nicole: But I want to space my kids out every two years so you get good alone time with each one.

Will you move into your own place soon?

Nicole: It'll take a year or two. We're in no rush, because it's great here, and we have to concentrate on Lorenzo.

When will he see Jersey Shore?

Nicole: Probably 14. I'll show him.

Jionni: He could say, "My mom was awesome. She was a nut!" Or he could just be embarrassed.

Nicole: He'll love me no matter what-and we love him.
